Miele's German Miele

A Dream Process - A Dream Begins with the Pursuit of the Ultimate

1899 was the year Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann met, and the year Miele was born. The two like-minded friends with the same philosophy - "Immer Besser" that is, "the pursuit of excellence, never compromise", founded the family business Germany Miele Miele. eight words simply The simple words "Immer Besser, Never Compromise" became the company philosophy of Miele, which has been passed down for 111 years.

In 1900, Miele creatively utilized the butter agitator principle to design and manufacture a wooden drum washing machine. Since then, Miele's creativity and innovation have been the center of attention. Since then more than 100 years, Germany Miele Miele is committed to research and development and manufacture of top-quality household appliances and commercial equipment, to provide users around the world with the most satisfactory products and services, it's supreme status has been honored by the global market.

As the saying goes, "perseverance is the key to everything". Across two centuries, until today after 111 years, Germany Miele still adhere to the original family management business model, so that the top home appliance king of every effort is purely to serve the better quality, the best ideas and the most perfect service. Today, Miele has become synonymous with the best quality, the most precise and reliable, the most trustworthy brand. The only top home appliance brand on 5 continents, with more than 16,000 employees, generates an annual turnover of more than 2.8 billion euros.

Our Promise to Quality

The two founders, Carl Miele and Reinhand Zinkann, have been convinced since the beginning of the company that "convincing and consistent quality is the basis for success. "

There are countless examples of this, from the 10,000 opening and closing tests of oven doors to the 10,000 cleaning tests of baking trays; from the hand-polishing of the whole range hood to eliminate any gaps, to the testing of various liquids and heat on induction cooktops; from the tens of thousands of precise temperature and time tests of cooking various ingredients in steam ovens to the control of the grinding pressure and water temperature of coffee machines. ...... is not the German Miele Miele's persistent pursuit of quality.

Lead Life's Innovation - Never Compromise on Innovation

As an industry leader for over two centuries, Miele has insisted on innovation to enable people around the world to enjoy the joys and pleasures of life, and to make life more elegant and comfortable. The breakthrough creation, classic and artistic appearance design, and humanized intelligent function lead the progress of the industry and win numerous honors for German Miele.

1900 The two founders, Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann, applied the working principle of the agitator (a rubberized barrel equipped with stirring rods) to their first washing machine, designing the unassuming cream agitator as a wooden barrel washing machine.

2008 Global launch of the new 5000 series of appliances

With Miele's cooking range, simply follow the instructions on the product's display step by step to achieve the perfect cooking results of the world's top restaurants. Miele's range hoods are inspired by beauty - when in use, the hood spreads its wings like a butterfly, with a superb design and the strongest suction power in the industry.

Looking at the proud laundry care series, this series, as a leader in the industry, has advantages that other brands can hardly match. The patented Honeycomb Drum has an original hexagonal honeycomb surface, with fewer and smaller holes in the drum to allow the clothes to glide gently through the film of water, so that when dewatering, the clothes are not forced into the holes by centrifugal force, thus avoiding any damage to the clothes. The most amazing experiment is to put a rose in full bloom into a Miele washing machine, select the gentle program, and after 40 minutes of washing, the rose petals are still standing up, without any falling off. This shows that even the most delicate clothing will be subjected to Spa's general cleaning "enjoyment" and as good as new.

Prestigious Brand Image

The charm of Miele's brand is unquestionable. The German Gfk research organization conducted two comprehensive surveys in 2007 and 2009, spanning more than 40 industries and more than 200 companies around the world, and Miele topped the list of top brands such as Porsche, BMW, and Google, and was named the best brand and won the first place in the overall ranking.

In China - Consideration for the Chinese market

While 75% of Miele's products are sold in Europe, Dr. Miele is still optimistic about the huge potential of the Chinese market and opened his first flagship store in Shanghai in 2010.

Dr. Miele and Dr. Zinkann, the fourth generation of the family heirs, believe that although the lifestyles of the Chinese and the Germans are very different, China's high-end customers want high-quality electrical appliances and equipment, which is no different from customers in Dubai or New York. Every time the two heirs arrive in a city, they observe the number of luxury German cars there, as a way to judge the timing of Miele's entry into that market.

Over the past two to three years, Miele has been favored by many high-end Chinese consumers and top luxury home developers for its prestigious brand image, ultra-minimalist appliance design and user-friendly operation. "Product design is very important - both in terms of how it looks and how it feels during operation," Dr. Zinkann believes, "and equally important is the after-sales service. We will only enter a new market if we are guaranteed to have a professional after-sales service." This is the reason why Miele has only two branches in China, Shanghai and Beijing, because we have professional after-sales service and personnel here. It can be said that giving up short-term interests and pursuing long-term reputation is what Miele Miele Germany has always insisted on. Miele currently produces household appliances, including laundry equipment, vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, built-in convection, steam, and rapid ovens, cooktops, range hoods, freestanding and built-in refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, and coffee makers.

The company also manufactures commercial laundry equipment, including wet washers, laboratory glassware washers, dental sterilization, and medical equipment washers.

Meno's testing has shown that their products are unmatched in the marketplace and that the equipment will last for up to 20 years.

On February 7, 2007 Miele received the award for the most successful company in Germany in Munich. Among the best companies, Miele beat the 2006 winner Google to second place, and even Porsche had to settle for third place.

The ranking for this best brand award is based on representative results from comprehensive market research.

Meno was also ranked in the top five of the best companies in the Best Product Brands category as a key indicator of consumer success and brand awareness and recognition in the current market economy.

In the UK, Miele was awarded the Top Appliance Spot Brand in 2007 and 2008, and only 1 or 2 brands have won the top spot twice since. 2010 saw Miele win the honor again.

In North America, Miele appears as a premium major appliance brand. Their competitors include Kubos, Gaggenau, Fagor, Viking and Semedo.

Steve Jobs owned a Miele washing machine and publicly praised the design philosophy of Miele washing machines.

Meno won the title of Best Company to Work For according to the GFK prestige measurement methodology (GFK is a leading German market research organization).

Miele itself is positioned in the high-end market for domestic appliances. Miele Worldwide - the world's only top-quality home appliance brand on 5 continents

When Miele was founded, it was sold only in Germany. Shortly after, quality products were introduced to the rest of Europe. The first Miele subsidiary outside Germany was founded in Switzerland in 1931. This was followed by wholly owned subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Luxembourg and Italy. As business grew, Miele continued to open branches in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Portugal and Greece.

Over the past two decades, Miele has been actively expanding its overseas markets, opening subsidiaries in the United States, Australia and South Africa, and then in Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico and Dubai. In June 2008, Miele China was formally established and officially launched its retail business, and the fourth generation of the family, Dr. Miele and Dr. Zinkann, were present to witness this important moment. By now, Miele has 47 branches on five continents. According to the characteristics of the market, Miele ensures the pure German lineage, but also develops and designs "personalized" products for each region, such as large combi cookers, super suction hoods, steam ovens and other classic products in line with the cooking and eating habits of Chinese people.

After the year 2000, when Chinese real estate developers were just beginning to pursue high-quality housing, several real estate developers traveled to Guetersloh, where Miele's headquarters are located. When colleagues at the headquarters in Germany received the guests from afar, they truly realized it was time to enter the Chinese market.

So Miele Shanghai Representative Office was established on October 26, 2004, Miele Beijing Representative Office was established at the end of 2005, with the deepening of the development of the Chinese market, Miele China was formally established in June 2008 and formally carry out the retail business in September 2009 in Shanghai JiuGuang and Beijing Xinguang opened Miele free standing In September 2009, Miele opened Miele freestanding sales counters in Shanghai Jiuguang and Beijing Xinguang respectively.

As a family business, Miele has a global annual turnover of 2.8 billion euros, 75% of which is sold in Europe. Nevertheless, the fourth generation of the family is still confident about the Chinese market, believing that although the lifestyles of the Chinese and Germans are very different, the Chinese high-end customer also wants high-quality electrical equipment, no different from the customers in Dubai or New York. In the past two to three years, Miele appliances with its noble brand image, ultra-minimalist design of appliances and user-friendly operation has been favored by many Chinese high-end consumers and top luxury residential developers. Through years of experience in the market and the development of the retail market, Miele opened its first flagship store in China, Miele House, in Shanghai in 2010.

Miele's first real estate project in China was the landmark mansion Mangrove West Coast in Shenzhen, which it began to follow in 2005 and installed the appliances in early 2006. Followed by the installation of appliances into apartments in early 2006, ***1164 apartments. Later Miele focused on the markets of Shanghai and Beijing as well as the surrounding radiant areas. For example, the Yin Tai Park Hyatt Residences (Park Hyatt Residences) and Park Hyatt Penthouses (Park Hyatt Penthouses) in Beijing's landmark Yin Tai Center on Chang'an Street, a total of **** more than 200 luxury apartments, all using Miele appliances. The Chairman's Suite and President's Suite of Park Hyatt Beijing (Park Hyatt) are also using Miele appliances. It is reported that many entertainment and sports stars from the mainland and Hong Kong have purchased to stay in this room. Directly opposite the Bird's Nest and the water power side of the Pangu Daguanli mansion as well as the Pangu Seven Stars Hotel also used Miele appliances.

"Product design is very important - how it looks, how it feels during operation," says Dr. Zinkann, "but equally important is the after-sales service. We will only enter the market if we can guarantee that we have professional Miele after-sales service staff." That's why Miele currently has only two branches in China, in Shanghai and Beijing, and will only set up a branch in Guangzhou next year. So when Miele China is confident enough that it can provide the best after-sales service, it will open a showroom, and once it does, it will have to achieve the same level of excellence that every other Miele store in the world has achieved in the past. Sometimes it is more important for Miele to give up short-term profits in favor of a long-term reputation, and Dr. Zinkann emphasizes that the German headquarters does not set sales targets for each branch, but rather "takes care" of the Miele brand. "We want the staff at each branch to feel that it is their own business, that they set their own targets and we accept them. Of course if some branches set their plans very low, we'll go over it with them again."

There are already appliances on the Chinese market that have been developed specifically for China, such as high-flame combi stoves for Chinese cooking habits, super suction hoods and steam ovens for healthy eating. As Miele grows steadily in China, more Miele appliances will be developed for the Chinese market. Miele House - Miele House

Shanghai in late autumn, yellow with a little emerald color of the sycamore trees neatly arranged on both sides of the street, just like a colorful scroll witnessing the years of greatness. Shimen all the way to 82, an old house, once the warmth of the family's system, in the long river of history a few times floating, and finally became a story of the passing of time. When everything was fixed in December 2010, it was as if we had traveled back home through a time and space tunnel. The same appearance is like a step back in time. Pushing open the glass door decorated with dragons again, the rich fragrance of Cappuccino wafting in the air reminds us of the brand new name of our home - Miele House, and its new owner - Miele Germany.

Miele, the pure German name behind the flow of pure German blood. Since its birth in 1899 to the present 111 years, the German Miele has always adhered to the "pursuit of the ultimate, never compromise" business philosophy, it will be on the home, on life, the pursuit of the future of the understanding and interpretation of each product. This late fall, when the world's first Miele House was inaugurated in China, Miele Miele's full range of products to create a true sense of the ideal "home" was born. This three-storey Chinese "palace-style" big roof building from the famous architect Fan Wenzhao's handwriting, was originally designed for the family, with perfect family function. The flying eaves, the dragon motifs on the old windows, doors and glass, the carefully restored wooden beams, the living room, kitchen, workroom, cigar bar, children's playroom, etc., all remain as they were in the 1930s. When the wheel of time turned to 2010, Eastern culture and Western inspiration met here, and the Miele House gave birth to a modern, even futuristic, home within the shell of tradition. Dr. Renard Xingkai, the fourth-generation family heir and Managing Director of the Miele Group, admires the home, "The architecture of the Miele House is very beautiful, and the design we have done is very special. The two are in perfect harmony, showing the same understanding of the home in China and the West ****. Especially worth mentioning is that this old house with a story is as old as Miele, and there was once a real family living here. Thus, our encounter has an extraordinary meaning. History and future, tradition and innovation reflect each other and burst into a new light."

Miele House encourages every guest to experience before they pay. This unique immersive shopping experience stems from Miele's confidence in its products and its love of life and family. "Cooking and laundry have never been all about Miele. All our efforts are aimed at enabling people to enjoy every moment of their lives, to feel and **** the art of creating life together, and to bring families closer and warmer. Therefore, we are more eager to convey this concept and lifestyle to Chinese consumers through Miele House, so that people can personally feel the physical and mental pleasure gained from it, which is more meaningful than just owning a product." Dr. Markus Miele, fourth-generation family heir and managing director of Miele Group, Germany, said. Even if you are not familiar with your newly learned skills, your work is now lying proudly in the oven after being guided by intelligent operation. With just a few hands, a "master" will help you prepare a Latte, a beautiful work of art that can only be enjoyed in a specialty coffee shop, and when the butterfly-shaped wings of the range hood are slowly unfolded, your Michelin three-starred cooking skills become your own private secret. Miele House historical review

Shimen all the way (former Shanghai Tongfu Road) 82 belongs to China's 'palace-style' large-roofed buildings, mansion building by the famous modern Chinese architect Mr. Fan Wenzhao (Robert Fan) in October 1934, designed and built, the house was originally for the Italian expatriate businessman This house was originally used by an Italian businessman, Tiel Jiansha, who was the head of China-Italy Shipping Company and had business dealings with Sanbei Lubu Shipping Company opened by Yu Qiaqing in China's shipping industry, and then Tiel Jiansha became a good friend of Yu's father and son. Yu Qiaqing in name did not act as the buyer of the company, but he sent his second son Yu Shunmao to participate in the business of the company, and under the pseudonym of the "Chinachem Company" for the Tierjiansha purchased the property and registered ownership with the Shanghai Municipal Land Bureau.

In World War II, three fascist countries, Germany, Italy and Japan, formed the 'Power Axis' (Power Axis) to wage a war of aggression against the United Kingdom, the United States, France and China, then known as the Democratic Line. During the war, the Italian people's armed uprising, overthrew the fascist regime of Mussolini, the ink devil sent to the guillotine to death, to the Democratic Line surrendered, at that time in the port of Shanghai, Italy's 10,000-ton ship 'Kantei Shar' immediately automatically chiseled and sunk on the banks of the Huangpu River, in order to avoid hijacking of the Japanese invasion forces (the Japanese enemy had later spent a great deal of effort to (Later, the Japanese enemy had made a great effort to lift the hull of the ship by tying a cable to a certain building on the Bund as a pillar and restored it for use, but after sailing out of Wusongkou, the ship was blown up and sunk by the United States Air Force). Therefore, in the post-World War II issue concerning the treatment of the property of the three defeated countries, the International Conference of the Democratic National Camp resolved that Italian property abroad should not be treated as enemy property.

After the liberation of the city, the Italian Tiel Jiansha left Shanghai, the house empty off, in 1953 by the people's government escrow, the house base recovered by our country. Recovered had successively as Tongji Medical College Affiliated Zhongmei Hospital Branch, Jing'an District Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Jing'an District Sanitary and Epidemic Prevention Station (moved in 2003) and other locations. Later, it was converted and used by a real estate company. And on March 19, 2004 included in the 'Shanghai immovable cultural relics list'.

The building was initially designed for use by an Italian family, with a kitchen, dining room, parlor and studio on the first floor. The second floor contains the master bedroom and fellowship room. The third floor features a children's playroom, bedroom, etc.

Because the residence flew the Italian flag during the war and was located in the public **** concession, it was saved from being overrun and destroyed by the Japanese army, and the building is well preserved to this day, with beige walls, golden tiled roofs, black cast-iron window panes and dragon patterned glass windows, the details of which allow people to unfold unlimited space for reverie, and to feel the coziness of natural relaxation. Fan Wenzhao (English: Robert Fan, 1893-1979), Chinese architect, a native of Guangdong, graduated from St. John's University in Shanghai in 1917, and studied at the Department of Architecture of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States from 1919 to 1922, and was awarded the second place in the competition for his Chinese retro design for the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing in 1925.

In 1927, Fan Wenzhao opened a private architect's office and designed, among his early famous works, in Shanghai, the Nanjing Grand Theater (present-day Concert Hall, 523 East Yan'an Road, Shanghai, completed in 1930) as a Western classical building, while the Shanghai Baxianqiao YMCA Building (completed in 1931), designed in collaboration with Li Jinpei (YMCA architect) and Zhao Shen, was built in the The YMCA building in Shanghai (built in 1931), designed in collaboration with Li Jinpei (architect of the YMCA) and Zhao Shen, has the traditional Chinese symbol of a circle of blue glazed tiles on top of the Western-style building. In Nanjing, he co-designed with Zhao Shen the Ministry of Railways Building (completed in 1930, converted to the Executive Yuan after the war, today's East Campus of the Nanjing Institute of Politics of the People's Liberation Army, No. 252 Zhongshan North Road), the General Association of Reed Societies (completed in 1931, today's Zhongshan Hotel, No. 307 Zhongshan East Road), and the Overseas Chinese Guest House (completed in 1933, today's Jiangsu Deliberation Park, No. 81 Zhongshan North Road), all of which are Chinese vintage buildings.

In 1930, he and other architects set up the 'China Construction Society' to study how to incorporate the original elements of ancient Chinese architecture into modern buildings.

In 1933, Fan began to turn to advocate modernist architecture, "first scientific and then beautification", according to this design idea designed Zhao Bishop Road Xiefa Apartment (Yafa Apartment, built in 1933, today Xuhui District Wuyuan Road), Gordon Road Maggie's Theater (built in 1941), today Jiangning Road, Jing'an District. ), and the Georgia Apartment on Bedang Road (built in 1942, now 311 - 331 Hengshan Road, Xuhui District).

Fan Wenzhao designed the new campus of the National Central University in Nanjing on the eve of the Anti-Japanese War in 1937.

In 1949, Fan settled in Hong Kong, where he lived for the rest of his life; in the 1950s, he designed the campus buildings for Hong Kong's Chung Chi Collegiate Institute, and the first batch of buildings was completed in 1956, which were rated beautiful and harmonious, although most of them have been dismantled today.

Fan designed the Ministry of Railways Building and the Reed Society Head Office in Nanjing, which were listed as 'National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units' in 2001, and the Overseas Chinese Guest House as a 'Nanjing Cultural Relics Protection Unit'. In Shanghai, the YMCA in Baxianqiao, Nanjing Grand Theater and Maggie's Grand Theater are 'Shanghai Cultural Relics Protection Units'.
