What weird bugs have you guys encountered at work and how did you end up solving them?

Talking about weird bugs at work, I think of an experience I had when I used to work in a foreign company.

At that time, the company I worked for was a foreign medical device manufacturer that provided domestic distributors with several types of medical devices that conformed to international standards, including various types of first-aid equipment and teaching models needed by medical schools. If there is a tender in the Greater China region, the distributors will participate in the bidding, about the quality of the products and qualifications are not a problem, however, according to the offer does not make sense in the end there will only be a distributor to win the bid. At that time, I was in charge of producing the bids for these companies, and since the bids of the three companies needed to be differentiated, I would use different fonts and sequences to differentiate them. Of course, I only produced the commercial part, about the final offer is still secretly marked by each company.

Remember that in 2008 there was a relatively large tender, due to the time constraints of the task, the need for a period of time will be three bids to catch up, for which I from morning to night the whole 12 hours without rest, in the middle of the water only once, ate a meal, and finally finished, the leadership did not seriously check, in fact, inside the bizarre error. I made several companies' product fonts mixed up, A company's written as B, B company wrote as C company's, C company's and A company's mixed together. In short, it's a total mess.

The bids were to be opened the next morning, and I had a nightmare the first night. Early the next morning, I came to the office fully dressed and waited for the news of my dismissal. Because this mistake is really too big, related to the results of this bidding, if found may also be because of several companies collusion and lose the opportunity to bid. As a result, the apprehension of the morning, almost to noon actually came the news that company A won the bid, the leadership of the happy greetings out of the potluck dinner.

Originally, the judges didn't even look at the fonts carefully, but only focused on the parameters and price. Alas, it was a false alarm.
