Three-dimensional scanner use:
1. The use of personnel must be trained and assessed before going on duty.
2. The scanner is managed by a person in charge.
3. Check whether the scanner components are complete: 3D scanner, scanner bracket, scanner calibration ball, data communication cable and C-TRACK scanning system.
4. Number of calibration rods 7) laptop 8) power adapter 9) 4 reflective handles 10) high-definition camera 11) coordinate system system 12) 1943 high-speed data communication card.
5. Scanning Equipment Connection
Connect the laptop to the power supply.
Connect the C-TRACK to the C-TRACK host computer with the data communication cable.
Connect the laptop to the C-TRACK scanning device.
Connect the C-TRACK to the power supply and turn on the C-TRACK host computer to warm up for half an hour.
6. Calibration Stick and Calibration Ball Calibration
Double-click VXELEMENTS to enter the scanning software, click the menu bar "Configuration-C-TRACK-Calibration" option, the first thing to do is to confirm the calibration range of the C-TRACK, and then click Start.
In this process, according to the prompts to ensure that the direction of the calibration stick and the height and distance,
The whole process is based on the position and direction of the computer display as a guide, be sure to ensure that the white point of the calibration stick in the red point of the range, so that the overlap of green, the same way to calibrate the other three different directions, 16 locations, and then click on the "Optimize" and the calibration is complete.
First to calibrate the distance between the scanner and the calibration ball, the method is to put the scanner perpendicular to the calibration ball, and then hold down the switch on the scanner, so that the cross-laser in the center of the calibration ball, slowly moving vertically close to the calibration ball, until all the computer is displayed as a dark green color to complete the first step.
The next step will show the angle to be calibrated, again to be perpendicular to the calibration ball, so that the cross laser in the center of the calibration ball, but the distance from the calibration ball position to see the computer display just in its acceptance of the range
(the left side of the bar meter shows the scanning head and the distance between the scanned object near and far) is displayed within the green before you can wait for the ball to be displayed as a center of the dark green after, slowly Turn the scanner's angle, so that the ball's 45-degree position is also exactly dark green, the same four positions need to be calibrated, complete the click on the Receive button. 2.4.7 Determine that the calibration is within the range of accuracy accepted by the device.
7. Scanning
(1) Static scanning (scanning of small parts).
The workpiece to be scanned is placed in a range where the C-TRACK can receive it, preferably 2m-3m directly in front of the C-TRACK.
Adjust the scanning parameters as needed and click Apply.
Click the menu bar "Scan", select the scanning surface (point), to be perpendicular to the surface to be scanned, (the left side of the bar meter illustrates the distance between the scanning head and the scanned object is close to the distance) is shown in green best, after completing the scanning click on the scanning in the end of the scanning, save the results of the scanning.
(2) Dynamic Scanning
Positioning of the sticker points, the sticker points must be randomly pasted on the surface of the object at a distance of not less than 20mm, in the case of little change in the surface, the distance of the sticker points 100-150mm is appropriate, in the case of large changes in the surface, shorten the sticker point spacing, the position of the sticker points should be away from the edge of the object more than 10mm.
Select all the points on the object and click Accept.
Adjust the scanning parameters as needed and click Apply.
Click the menu bar "Scan", select the scanning surface (points), to be perpendicular to the surface to be scanned, (the left bar meter shows the distance between the scanning head and the object being scanned) is displayed in green is the best, after completing the scanning click on the scanning in the end of the scanning, to save the results of the scan.
