On September 30th, in the tunnel of Line 2, the last group of rails in the right rail area of Beiguo Mall Station successfully "seamlessly butted" with the sparks during rail welding, which also declared that the first phase of Shijiazhuang Metro Line 2 was successfully "connected" and the track laying work was successfully completed.

Jiazhuang Metro Line 2 is a north-south backbone line in our city's rail transit network. The first phase of Line 2 starts from Jiahua Station in the south and ends at Xiguan Station in the north. The total length of the line is 16.2km, and there are 15 stations, all underground.

The first phase of Line 2 was invested and built by China Railway, and the track laying work of the whole line was undertaken by China Railway No.1 Bureau. With the strong coordination of the Municipal Rail Company, China Railway Shijiazhuang Metro Command and other relevant units, the construction unit has overcome many difficulties such as multi-unit crossover operation and on-site handover, and ensured the realization of important time limit nodes.

According to the relevant person in charge of China Railway No.1 Bureau, the total track-laying length of Metro Line 2 is about 47 kilometers (including auxiliary line, tie line and depot 13 kilometers), and there are three track-laying bases in the whole line, namely Jiahua Depot, Donggangtou Station and Xigucheng Station. There are 8 working faces along the whole line, and track laying will be carried out in stages. Various types of ballast beds are used in track engineering, such as damping fasteners, trapezoidal sleepers, integral damping pads, steel spring floating plates, etc. The construction technology is complex, there are many procedures, the working face in the tunnel is narrow, and the construction is difficult, which needs careful organization and reasonable arrangement.

Since the track-laying project started, in order to ensure the realization of the goal of connecting nodes of long tracks, the China Railway Shijiazhuang Metro Headquarters and the China Railway No.1 Bureau 13 Bid Project Department have taken various measures to fully promote the construction progress: First, according to the actual construction production, timely adjust the construction plan, reverse the construction period, and increase equipment, machines and personnel. Up to 7 working faces will be started at the same time, and track laying will exceed 650 meters every day to ensure the controllable construction period; Second, the construction work should be safe, high-quality and controllable. Relying on the responsibility system of safety production and quality production, we will strictly implement "separation of supervision and management", "double responsibility for one post" and "leadership with shift system", and use modern scientific and technological means such as hidden danger investigation system, traffic dispatching command system and BIM technology to form a good situation of comprehensive safety and quality control. Third, actively organize and carry out special activities such as "China Railway Cup-throwing" labor competition, and effectively speed up the construction progress on the premise of ensuring safety and quality; Fourth, in the process of construction, dust control and civilized construction should be done in strict accordance with environmental protection requirements.

As an important node of subway construction, the timely realization of "Rail Link" has created favorable construction conditions for subsequent electromechanical equipment installation, signal, civil air defense and decoration, and provided a strong guarantee for early opening to traffic. Up to now, the main works of the stations and sections of the first phase of Line 2 have been completed; The ancillary works of the station were completed 52%; The discipline of conventional equipment and system equipment engineering was advanced as planned, and the project construction was advanced at full speed and orderly.
