Wenzhou Tesla "brake failure" car owner apologizes. How to interpret it from a legal perspective?

From a legal point of view, the owner's behavior violated Tesla's reputation. According to the criminal law, if the circumstances are serious, it is a criminal offence, which may constitute the crime of insult and slander. According to Article 246 of the Criminal Law, whoever commits this crime shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention, public surveillance or deprivation of political rights.
