the crew was having trouble negotiating with the top, causing to have to start laying out the end of the show from this season onward.
Then before Season 7 started, CUDDY announced that he wouldn't be renewed, so it wouldn't be as easy for House to leave.
For lack of a reason to leave. Let's put it this way, House has been forced to leave his post before because of many things,
but then it's all kept going and coming back because CUDDY really needed House and House himself wanted to return to the post.
It's not that easy to actually leave unless both CUDDY and Wilson need to leave their medical posts themselves,
in order to fulfill the conditions of this ending, and with CUDDY's departure flanking one of the necessary elements,
all that's left is Wilson.
So this ending, from the beginning, doomed the two to give up the path of medicine and start a new life.
