What is the classification of protective electrical equipment? What are the categories of protective electrical equipment?

(1), class . This kind of equipment only relies on basic insulation to prevent electric shock. There is no grounding terminal on the shell and inside of Class equipment without electrical conductor.

(2), class 1. This kind of equipment also relies on basic insulation to prevent electric shock. However, the metal shell of this equipment is equipped with grounding (zero) terminals, and no power cord with protective core wire is provided.

(3), class I. In addition to the basic insulation, this equipment has an additional safety measure. There is no grounding terminal on the shell of Class I equipment, but there is a grounding terminal inside, and the power cord with protective plug is led out from the equipment.

(4), class I. This equipment has double insulation and safety protection measures to strengthen insulation.

(5), class ii. This equipment relies on ultra-low safe voltage power supply to prevent electric shock.

There are no products of Class and Class I for hand-held power tools, and the products on the market are basically Class II equipment. Mobile electrical equipment is mostly Class I products.
