Principle of ultraviolet disinfection cabinet
Ultraviolet light can only propagate along the straight line, the radiation energy is low, the penetrating force is weak, only to kill the direct irradiation of the microorganisms, and therefore try to make the disinfection part of the display in the ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet light is a wavelength outside the visible range of short waves, according to the principle of radiation produced by a visible "blue light", is not disinfection. Ultraviolet light according to the wavelength range can be divided into A, B, C.
The real germicidal effect of the C-wave ultraviolet, especially the wavelength of 253.7nm of ultraviolet light is the best. Ultraviolet light can kill a variety of microorganisms, including bacterial propagules, bud cells, branch bacilli, viruses, fungi, rickettsiae and mycoplasma, etc., with broad-spectrum.
The principle of sterilization is to irradiate bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms with ultraviolet light in order to destroy the structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) in their organisms, so as to cause their immediate death or loss of the ability to reproduce.
The disadvantage is that ultraviolet light can only be transmitted along the straight line, low radiation energy, penetration is weak, and can only kill microorganisms directly irradiated, so disinfection should try to make the disinfection site fully exposed to ultraviolet light.
