Small spray dryer mainly consists of the following parts: feeding system, spraying system, hot air system, powder collection system, discharge system and control system.
Feeding system
Feeding system consists of liquid tank, transfer pump and regulating valve. Liquid tank is used to store the liquid material container, the transfer pump will be liquid material from the liquid tank and transported to the spray system, the regulating valve is used to control the working pressure of the transfer pump.
Misting System
The misting system consists of nozzles, air compressors and control valves. The nozzle is the device used to atomize the liquid material into tiny particles, the air compressor provides high pressure airflow, and the control valve is used to regulate the flow of liquid material.
Hot Air System
The hot air system consists of a heater, a fan and a hot air duct. The heater is used to generate hot air, the fan sends the hot air into the drying chamber, and the hot air pipe is the channel connecting the heater and the drying chamber.
Powder collection system
The powder collection system consists of a cyclone separator and a collection tank. The cyclone separator is used to separate the dried product from the drying chamber and the collection tank is used to collect the dried product.
Discharge System
The discharge system consists of a blower and an airflow pipe. The fan extracts the exhaust gases from the drying chamber and discharges them to the atmosphere, while the air ducting is the channel connecting the drying chamber to the fan.
Control system
The control system includes the main controller, temperature controller, pressure controller, liquid level controller and so on. The main controller is the core device used to control the operation and parameter adjustment of the whole equipment, the temperature controller is used to control the temperature of the heater, the pressure controller is used to control the pressure of the air compressor, and the liquid level controller is used to control the position of the liquid material in the liquid tank.
Working Principle
The working principle of the small spray dryer is: firstly, the liquid material is added into the liquid tank in the feeding system, and then through the conveying pump, the material is sent into the spraying system through the regulating valve. In the spray system, the use of air compressor generated by the high-pressure airflow will be sprayed into very small particles of liquid materials and uniformly dispersed in the drying chamber. At the same time, the heater in the hot air system generates high temperature hot air and sends it into the drying chamber through the fan to dry the particles. The control system of the equipment automatically adjusts the drying time and temperature according to the setting to ensure the drying effect of the product. When the granule drying is finished, the product is separated and collected in the collection tank through the powder collection system, and the exhaust gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the emission system. The whole drying process is basically a continuous and automatic operation.
