KF94 is a standard produced in South Korea, under which masks have a filtration rate of more than 94% for particles with a diameter of 0.4μm.
In terms of filtration and protection, KF94 masks are similar to KN95. This standard can effectively block the common carrier of viruses: droplets. The diameter of droplets is generally between 1~4μm, and the filtration effect of KF94 masks can maximize the prevention of direct contact of droplets with the human respiratory tract, preventing viruses from attacking.
KN95 or, KF94 or, these two masks have a **** the same point that is - KN masks, KP masks due to the lack of anti-penetration requirements, the two masks are not for medical standards, can not be used in health care institutions to protect. However, these two masks, for us ordinary people daily protection is very enough.
KF94 and KN95 comparison
n95 is the U.S. standard, refers to the mask for the diameter of 0.3 micron, non-oily particles filtering greater than 95%. Comparison of the two standards are different, the United States data from the United States National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, South Korea's data refer to its Food and Drug Administration.
In terms of protection, the KF94 can filter out at least 94% of particles with a diameter of 0.4 microns, and both oily and non-oily particles can reach the same level, and the n95 can filter out at least 95% of particles with a diameter of 0.3 microns, non-oily particles only. Compare and contrast, n95 level of filtration particles better, but kf94 more than n95 about oily particles filtration requirements, in general, the two filtration capacity is not much difference.
