Fujifilm camera development history Fujifilm Corporation (hereinafter referred to as: Fujifilm) since its inception in 1934, and continue to move forward at a determined pace, the development of the world's largest comprehensive imaging, information, document processing products and services, one of the largest integrated manufacturing and suppliers. The company is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, and is headed by Shigetaka Furumori, the company's current global president and CEO. Fujifilm has been actively expanding overseas since the late 1960s, and has built a strong global network of production, sales and service. The Fujifilm Group consists of Fujifilm Corporation, 282 subsidiaries and 40 affiliates engaged in research and development, manufacturing, software development, marketing and purchasing, and related business activities in more than 200 countries and regions around the world, with overseas sales amounting to nearly 50% of total consolidated net sales. Fujifilm has three major business fields, namely: 1. the imaging business field, which consists of two product groups, traditional and digital (film, cameras, photographic paper, chemicals, processing equipment, etc.); 2. the information business field, which consists of a range of products, including printing systems, medical systems, liquid crystal materials, and recording media; and 3. document processing equipment (copiers, printers, multifunctional digital printing centers, and consumables), which are manufactured and sold by Fujifilm's subsidiary Fuji Xerox Corporation. Fuji Xerox, a subsidiary of Fujifilm, manufactures and sells document processing equipment (copiers, printers, multifunctional digital printing centers, consumables, etc.) in the document business field.
