Legal analysis: 1. Temporary storage places for medical wastes shall be provided with obvious warning signs for medical wastes. Legal basis: Measures for the Management of Medical Wastes in Medical and Health Institutions

Article 5 Medical and health institutions shall, in accordance with the provisions of relevant national laws, administrative regulations, departmental rules and normative documents, formulate and implement the rules and regulations, work processes and requirements of medical waste management, post responsibilities of relevant personnel and emergency plans for medical waste loss, leakage, diffusion and accidents in medical and health institutions. The contents include:

(1) Methods and work requirements for classified collection of medical wastes in medical waste generating sites of medical and health institutions;

(two) the working system of the medical waste generating place and the temporary storage place of the medical and health institution, and the working requirements for transporting the medical waste from the generating place to the temporary storage place;

(3) Provisions on the transportation and registration of medical wastes in medical and health institutions and the transportation of medical wastes to medical waste disposal units;

(four) the special operating procedures in the process of medical waste management and the emergency treatment measures for the loss, leakage, diffusion and accidents of medical waste;

(5) Occupational health and safety protection of relevant staff in the process of classified collection, transportation and temporary storage of medical wastes.

Article 6 Medical and health institutions shall set up monitoring departments or full-time (part-time) personnel responsible for the management of medical wastes to perform the following duties:

(1) To be responsible for guiding and inspecting the implementation of various tasks in the process of classified collection, transportation, temporary storage and internal disposal of medical wastes;

(two) to guide and inspect the occupational health and safety protection in the process of classified collection, transportation, temporary storage and internal disposal of medical wastes;

(three) responsible for organizing the emergency treatment of medical waste loss, leakage, diffusion and accidents;

(four) responsible for organizing medical waste management training;

(five) responsible for medical waste registration and file management;

(six) responsible for timely analysis and treatment of other problems in medical waste management.

Article 7 In case of loss, leakage, diffusion and accidents of medical wastes, medical and health institutions shall take corresponding emergency measures in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Medical Wastes and these Measures, and report to the health administrative department and environmental protection administrative department of the local people's government at the county level within 48 hours. After the investigation and handling work is completed, the medical and health institutions shall report the investigation and handling results to the health administrative department and the environmental protection administrative department of the local people's government at the county level.
