How much baggage can be checked in on Etihad Airways?

Baggage allowance for journeys to and from all destinations (general policy):

1. Economy Class Premium Fare: 23 kg.

2. Economy Class Flat Fare and Economy Class High Value Fare: 30 kg.

3. Economy class free fare: 35 kg.

4. Business Class: 40 kg.

5. First Class: 50 kg.

Note: The weight of a single piece of baggage shall not exceed 32 kilograms.

Checked baggage can only be purchased within 48 hours before flight departure to enjoy 20% discount.

Electronic Devices

Rechargeable Batteries, Replacement Batteries

Bulk or Replacement Batteries, Rechargeable Batteries, E-Cigarettes, Electronic Smoking Pipes and other atomizers for personal use must be placed in cabin baggage, or in a pocket or purse, and secured individually. For security reasons, these items are strictly prohibited in checked baggage.

A maximum of ?10 loose or spare batteries, including rechargeable batteries, may be carried.

For electronic devices or spare batteries, lithium-ion batteries must not exceed ?100 watt-hours of output power; lithium-metal batteries must not contain more than 2 grams of metal.

Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs)

A maximum of ?15 electronic devices (including laptops, tablets, e-readers, cell phones, or medical devices) may be carried in carry-on or checked baggage on flights. Any devices checked in must be completely switched off (i.e. not in sleep mode or hibernation mode) and must be protected against damage.
