Methods to solve the noise of slewing bearing

There are two common solutions to slewing bearing noise: dust noise and scarring noise: (1) Control method of dust noise There are foreign bodies such as dust in the slewing branch, which will cause aperiodic vibration. The so-called dust noise, the magnitude of its vibration and noise is uncertain, which may or may not exist. Control method of dust noise: improve the cleaning method of slewing bearing/turntable bearing, and strictly clean the bearing, shaft, seat hole and fittings before installation; Removing foreign matters in the lubricant; Improve the sealing performance of the bearing; Avoid using plastic cages with impure materials or embedded foreign objects.

(2) Control method of scar sound If the rolling surface of the slewing bearing is cracked, indented or corroded, it will produce periodic vibration and noise similar to riveting rivets, and its period may be fixed, but most of them have a certain corresponding relationship with the speed. Scar will appear constantly in the channel, and sometimes appear on the steel ball, and this noise will change with the change of installation and lubrication conditions. The control method of this noise: don't knock the bearing during installation to prevent the bearing from tilting when it is installed in the bearing seat after assembly with the shaft; Prevent bearing corrosion in storage and impact vibration in transportation; Use high viscosity grease. (3) Noise caused by lubrication factors and its countermeasures: Wrong lubricant selection, insufficient lubricant or aging induration can all lead to vibration and noise of slewing bearing/turntable bearing, and this noise has no certain regularity. In this case, only by selecting suitable lubricant, adjusting its dosage, prolonging the service life of lubricant and reasonably determining the replacement cycle. (4) Noise related to the host and its countermeasures. This kind of noise is not caused by bearings alone, and it is ineffective to find the cause from bearings alone. We should pay full attention to the host and improve its performance when necessary. This paper mainly describes the common hum and frame resonance sound in the motor. Hum of the motor and its countermeasures The axial vibration of the motor shaft will produce a lot of high-frequency noise-hum, whose frequency is the same as the axial vibration frequency, which can be constant or variable. The method of preventing humming is the same as that of preventing axial vibration. B. Bearing frame resonance sound and its countermeasures When the axial natural vibration of the outer ring mass system causes the axial bending natural vibration of the bearing frame, it will produce a kind of noise called resonance sound. Increasing the pre-tightening force can improve the axial natural frequency of the outer ring mass system, destroy the resonance condition and reduce the noise. According to the actual use and design structure, there are different working modes and two basic working modes:
