How about a water-cooled radiator?

In the initial stage of water-cooled radiator, some manufacturers predict that it will be water-cooled in the future. But after such a long time, water cooling is still used by only a few users, not the mainstream. The reason is that although water cooling is still dominant in heat dissipation performance, it is expensive and takes up a lot of space, and water (or other substitute liquid) will deteriorate and internal materials will be oxidized. Moreover, the refrigerant in the water-cooled radiator is a consumable and needs to be replaced regularly. The price is about half a liter in 50 yuan (pure water or even tap water is ok).

Details are as follows:

1, Introduction

The cold cooling system uses a pump to circulate the coolant in the cooling pipe and dissipate heat. The heat absorption part on the radiator (called heat absorption box in liquid cooling system) is used to absorb the heat of computer CPU, North Bridge and graphics card. The heat absorbed by the heat absorbing part is discharged to the outside of the main engine through the radiator designed at the back of the fuselage.

Step 2 introduce

In today's personal computer heat dissipation field, although the air-cooled radiator has basically stepped out of the strange circle of high noise and intense heat dissipation, it is generally developing in the direction of large volume, many heat pipes and overweight, which brings great inconvenience to users in the actual use and installation of the radiator and also brings great test to the bearing capacity of computer accessories. In view of the difficulties in the post-air cooling era, liquid-cooled radiators are gradually accepted by computer users.

3. Practical principles

A typical water cooling system must have the following components: water cooling block, circulating liquid, water pump, pipeline, water tank or heat exchanger. The water cooling block is a metal block with a water channel inside, which is made of copper or aluminum, contacts the CPU and absorbs the heat of the CPU. The circulating liquid flows in the circulating pipeline under the action of the water pump. If the liquid is water, it is commonly called water cooling system. The liquid absorbing CPU heat will flow away from the water cooling block on the CPU, and the new low-temperature circulating liquid will continue to absorb CPU heat. The water pipe connects the water pump, the water cooling block and the water tank, and its function is to make the circulating liquid circulate in a closed channel without leakage, thus making the liquid-cooled heat dissipation system work normally. The water tank is used to store circulating liquid, and the heat exchanger is a device similar to a radiator. The circulating liquid transfers heat to the radiator with large surface area, and the fan on the radiator takes away the heat flowing into the air.
