What does product design do?

Product design companies specialize in product design, but it is not possible to do only product design, because usually, if there is a need for product design, they should do it together with structural design. Because if the product structural design is not taken into consideration, the product exterior design itself will not be built, that is to say, it will just be drawn.

First of all, most of them are similar to accomplish industrial design, and may not be involved in electrical design because electrical design is too centralized, with all industries having their own accomplishments. As a product design company, it does not have the means or ability to master more electrical structural design. Therefore, it effectively completes the industrial design of the product.

Second, as a product design company, you must be familiar with the production process. The production process referred to here is primarily the manufacturing process that determines the appearance of the product. The machining process determines the appearance of many parts. It may not be a highly electrical process, but it may include the installation of electrical structures. As a matter of fact, it goes without saying that most firms engaged in structural design will be very familiar with the machining of the various parts and will also provide the user with the appropriate machining methods, such as bonding, foaming, injection molding, sheet metal, machining, because only those who are familiar with the machining of these product parts will be able to complete the realization of the product. This is a necessary skill for design companies.

Thirdly, the product design company should have 2-3 members who need different abilities. From the appearance, whether the product is beautiful or not tends to the artistic appreciation, only the appreciation needs the design ability. Previously, we were supposed to have some graphic design skills to deal with product labels, colors and other issues. However, in general, people with these skills may not have strong logical thinking. In other words, structural designers with strong logical thinking also need to conceptualize and assemble products from large to small, from display to screws. In this case, it is difficult to accomplish such a design due to lack of manpower, which is the minimum allocation of resources.
