What equipment is better for electroplating wastewater containing nickel?

The composition of wastewater produced by electronic industry is very complicated, and nickel-containing wastewater is also one of the most difficult wastewater to treat. Many nickel plating wastewater treatment processes are mainly chemical methods.

In the treatment of nickel plating wastewater, the nickel plating wastewater was pretreated by the electrolytic device in the workshop, and then the nickel ions were preliminarily removed. Then, the nickel plating wastewater flows into the regulating tank from the factory pipe network by gravity, and is lifted by the self-priming pump to the nickel plating wastewater treatment tank for treatment.

Nickel plating wastewater treatment tank is divided into three parts: pH adjustment tank, flocculation tank and sedimentation tank. Among them, alkali liquor is added to the pH adjusting tank to adjust the pH value of nickel plating wastewater (the retention time of the pH adjusting tank is 30 minutes). Flocculant and nickel remover are added to the flocculation tank to make the nickel plating wastewater flocculate (the retention time of the flocculation tank is 30 minutes).

The bivalent nickel and hydroxide form a precipitate, which is discharged to the sludge concentration tank through the sedimentation tank, treated by the plate-and-frame filter press and temporarily stored in the hazardous waste temporary storage room. The effluent from nickel plating wastewater treatment enters the comprehensive tank and is treated with other wastewater. The comprehensive treatment tank adopts sand filtration +pH adjustment process to further remove heavy metal deposits and discharge them after reaching the standard.

After the nickel-containing wastewater from electronic factory is treated by nickel-plating wastewater treatment process, the biodegradability of the wastewater is improved, and then it is mixed with other wastewater for comprehensive treatment, which improves the overall treatment efficiency.
