3.2? Check before installation
Before installing the AP, please check the following:
? Please supply power to the AP first, connect the AP to the Ethernet, and check the status of the indicator light to ensure that the AP can work normally. Please refer to Appendix A for the status of the equipment indicator lights.
? Please record the MAC address and serial number on the back of the AP device for subsequent search and use.
? Please confirm that the wiring work where the equipment needs to be installed has been completed.
3.3? Determine the installation location
The principles for determining the installation location are as follows:
? Minimize the number of obstacles (such as walls) between AP and user terminals.
? Please install the AP away from electronic equipment or devices (such as microwave ovens) that may generate RF noise.
? The installation location should be hidden as far as possible, so as not to interfere with the daily work and life of residents.
? It is strictly prohibited to install it in the environment of water accumulation, seepage, dripping and condensation. It is necessary to avoid water droplets flowing into the equipment along the cable due to condensation and seepage of the cable.
3.4? Install AP
H3C WA6320-SI wireless access point is only suitable for indoor installation and supports the following three installation methods:
? Wall mounting mode
? 86 panel installation method
? Ceiling installation mode
