Yy0469-20 1 1 What's the difference between a mask and n95?

YY0469-20 1 1 is the standard that can be used to test the quality and safety of masks by the comprehensive evaluation method of China State General Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision, and n95 is the standard formulated by NIOSH (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health).

Protective mask refers to the equipment that people wear on their faces to protect their respiratory system when they are exposed to toxic substances, suspended particles, fresh air and other pollutants. China has formulated two evaluation standards for protective masks: national standard yy0469-20 1 1 and n95.

YY0469-20 1 1 Standard is an applicable standard for testing the quality and safety of masks by the comprehensive evaluation method of the General Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision of China, also known as the safety performance standard of heavy medical mouth seals. The standard includes six indicators, such as bacterial filtration efficiency, anti-gas filtration efficiency, air resistance and air permeability.

N95 is a standard formulated by NIOSH (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health), which can be divided into seamless oral cavity, suction valve and lossless.

Among them, the air filtration efficiency of seamless mask is as high as 95%, which can effectively filter impurities with the size of 0.3 micron. Its suction valve can reduce the excess steam humidity inside and make breathing more comfortable: it is not a worn mask, but has anti-aging and antistatic properties.

The two standards have their own characteristics, and protective masks play an irreplaceable role in ensuring safe travel. When choosing a mask, you should choose a suitable mask according to your own environment, wear it correctly and check and replace it regularly.

Mask wearing situation distinction:

Medical personnel must use medical protective masks under the following circumstances:

1.? Close contact with infected patients.

2.? Perform operations that may generate aerosols, such as sputum aspiration and intubation.

3.? Possible operations such as splashing body fluids.

In other cases, you can wear N95 mask and KN95 mask. The key to wearing a mask is close contact with the face, that is, no air leakage! Do not use a protective mask with a respirator!
