The image analysis rate of the scanning electron microscope is related to the diameter of the electron beam. The thinner the electron beam, the higher the resolution of imaging. Not only has my country been at a disadvantage in the field of optics, but it has also been difficult to achieve breakthroughs in signal collection, display systems and vacuum systems. If China wants to produce high-end medical imaging equipment, the only way is to import a large number of expensive foreign components, which will naturally drive up the price.
3. Photoresist
The main components of photoresist are polymer resin, color paste, monomer, photoinitiator, solvent and additives. The molecular materials involved are Screening, synthesis technology, active monomers and many other fields. Due to the high difficulty of synthesis, the core technology of photoresist is currently monopolized by Japan's TOK, JSR, Sumitomo Chemical, and Shin-Etsu Chemical. Basically no domestic company has completed independent research and development, and they all rely heavily on imports.
Take BOE, which is currently the most famous manufacturer of mobile phone screens in China, as an example. Basically all the photoresists it uses in the production of high-end panels are provided by foreign companies. Once foreign countries cut off supply in this regard, BOE's myth may collapse instantly.
