Ren Jinsheng

Ren Jinsheng is the founder of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Ren graduated from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982, majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine; from 1982 to 1992, he worked in Qidong Gaitianli Pharmaceutical Company, serving as a technician and deputy general manager; from 1992 to 1995, he was the department manager of Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Industry Company; he founded Syngenta Pharmaceuticals in March 1995; he obtained a Master's Degree in Economics from Macquarie University, Australia, in 2003; and he is currently a visiting professor of the China University of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, He is currently a visiting professor at China Pharmaceutical University, a visiting professor at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and an adjunct professor at Northwestern University in China.

Linghuan Zhao

Linghuan Zhao, Director of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, Vice President of Legend Holdings Ltd. and President of Hony Capital, received a B.S. degree in Physics from Nanjing University in 1984, a dual M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Northern Illinois University in 1990, and an M.B.A. degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 1996, and was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Infolio until 2001. Prior to 2001, he served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Infolio, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vadem, Inc. and Senior Manager of U.S. Rotics, Inc. and Shure Brothers, Inc. From 2001 to 2002, he was the Managing Director of eGarden Venture Fund; from 2002 to 2003, he served as a consultant to the CEOs of UTStarcom and Lenovo Group Limited; and in 2003, he joined Lenovo Holdings and Beijing Hony Capital Advisors.

Professor Lin Guoqiang

Professor Lin Guoqiang, an independent director of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, graduated from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Science and Technology of Shanghai (now known as Shanghai University) with a Bachelor's Degree in 1964, obtained a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1968, and became a Research Fellow at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry of the CAS in 1989. In 1989, he became a researcher of Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIOC); in 1993~1999, he served as the director of SIOC; since 1997, he has been an adjunct professor at Fudan University; since 1998, he has been an adjunct professor at Nankai University; since 2000, he has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and Southwest University, and as a visiting professor at Guizhou University. In 2001, he was appointed as a scholar in the Chemical Sciences Division of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has been the director of the Chemical Sciences Division of the National Natural Science Foundation of China since 2006.

Liu Hongquan

Liu Hongquan, an independent director of Simcere Pharmaceuticals, graduated from Shanxi College of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor's Degree in 1983; served as the General Manager of Huarui Pharmaceuticals Ltd. from 1992 to 1995; served as the Chief Financial Officer of PharmaChem Ltd. from 1995 to 2000; served as the Chief Marketing and Business Officer and Managing Director of PharmaChem Ltd. In 2000, he graduated from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree; in the same year, he served as the General Manager of Wuxi Pharmaceutical Company of Jiangsu Zhongtan Import & Export Corporation; and since 2000, he has served as the Managing Director of Huarui Pharmaceuticals Co.

Xue Zhaokun

Xue Zhaokun, an independent director of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom in 1989; became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1992; and served in various positions at Industrial and Commercial East Asia Capital Limited (formerly known as NatWest Markets) from 1995 to 1998 and from 2001 to 2005, as a member of the Board of Directors of NatWest Markets. (formerly NatWest Markets Asia Limited) from 1995 to 1998 and from 2001 to 2005, lastly as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking; Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (Hong Kong) Limited from September 2005 to March 2007; and Managing Director of DBS Asia Finance Limited from March 2007 to present.

Qian Haibo

Qian Haibo, Secretary of the Board of Directors of Symphony Pharmaceuticals, Senior Economist, Licensed Pharmacist; Bachelor's Degree in Stomatology from Nanjing Medical University in 1984; Bachelor's Degree in Law from Nanjing Normal University in 1986; Master's Degree in Health Economics from Shanghai Medical University in 1993; Director of the Research Office of Health Economics of Nanjing Medical University from 1986 to 1993; joined Symphony Pharmaceuticals in 1993; Director of the Research Office of Health Economics of Nanjing Medical University. From 1986 to 1993, he was the Director of the Health Economics Research Laboratory of Nanjing Medical University; in 1993, he joined Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Director, Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, General Manager of the Marketing Strategy Department, and General Manager of the Department; in 2002, he received an MBA degree from Nanjing University; in 2005, he was appointed as the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of Fosun Pharmaceuticals in Shanghai; in 2007, he received a PhD degree in Management and Social Pharmacy from the China University of Pharmacy. Zhou Jindong, Executive Vice President of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, graduated from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982, majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has served as General Manager of Nanjing Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, Vice General Manager of Jiangsu Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, General Manager of Nanjing Syngenta Dongyuan Pharmaceuticals, and General Manager of Hainan Syngenta Pharmaceuticals from 1996 to the present. In 2008, he received a master's degree in economics from Macquarie University in Australia.

Shi Zhengliang

Shi Zhengliang, Vice President of Marketing of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, MBA, graduated from China Pharmaceutical University with a college degree in Pharmacy in 2002, and graduated from Nanjing Normal School of Business with a Master's degree in Business Administration in 2003, and was appointed as a member of the Equipment Section of Nanjing Pharmaceutical Factory from September 1985 to April 1993, and as a member of the Pharmaceutical Section of Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Industry Company from May 1993 to February 1995. In March 1995, Mr. Feng joined Syngenta Pharmaceuticals as a sales manager in Shanghai, regional sales manager in Suzhou and Shanghai, regional manager and sales director in Suzhou, Shanghai, two lakes and two large regions, deputy general manager of the hospital department, and general manager of the Fujian and Jiangxi branches.

Feng Quanfu

Feng Quanfu, Vice President of Syngenta, has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from East China Normal University, a Master's Degree in Medicine from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is a part-time professor at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Nanjing.

Feng Quanfu joined Syngenta in 1995, and has experience in many departments, such as Corporate Culture Department, Marketing and Advertisement Department, General Manager's Office, Human Resource Department, Commercial Department, and Hospital Department. He has been the regional manager of Jiangsu Xianxin Pharmaceuticals, the regional manager of Zhejiang, Fujian and Gan, the regional manager of Business South China, Suzhou and Shanghai, the manager of Guangdong Branch, the manager of Beijing Branch, the director of the President's Office, the assistant to the president and general manager of the first hospital department, the general manager of the hospital department, the deputy general manager of Jiangsu Xianxin, the general manager of the North China Branch, the general manager of Jiangsu Branch, and other positions.

Yehong Zhang

Dr. Zhang Yehong, President of Syngenta, has 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry; a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvard University, a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, Dr. Zhang has over 12 years of experience working for Merck in the U.S., Europe, China, and elsewhere, where he was responsible for the design and construction of international GMP plants, product launches, supply chain operations, and business development. From 2004 to 2007, he served as CEO of IMS Greater China. From 2007 to 2008, he returned to Merck Sharp & Dohme as President of China. Hong Zhao, Executive Vice President of Syngenta, holds a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Nanjing Medical University and an EMBA degree from China Europe International Business School. Mr. Zhao joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1992, and has worked as a pharmaceutical representative, district sales manager, regional sales manager, national sales director, vice president of sales, and senior vice president of Greater China in Xi'an Janssen Pharmaceutical Company and Beijing Novartis Pharmaceutical Company.

Peng Wang

Peng Wang, Chief Scientific Officer of Syngenta Pharmaceuticals, has 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D. He graduated from China Pharmaceutical University in 1982 majoring in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and then attended Sichuan Medical University from 1983 to 1984 for postgraduate study in Biochemistry, and then studied at the University of Tokyo from 1984 and received his PhD from the University of Tokyo in 1990. From 1990 to 2008, Mr. Wang worked at Schering-Plough Research Institute (New Jersey, USA), where he completed his postdoctoral fellowship and served as Senior Research Fellow, Associate Research Fellow, Principal Research Fellow, Senior Principal Research Fellow, and Senior Research Fellow, and was Vice President of Research and Development Biologics and a member of the Executive Committee of WuXi PharmaTech (WuXi PharmaTech) from 2008 to 2009. He joined Centrum Pharmaceuticals.
