The specialty of process equipment and control engineering in our school was established in 1958, formerly known as the specialty of chemical equipment and machinery. From 65438 to 0987, this major began to recruit graduate students. It is one of the earliest disciplines established by Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and now it is listed as the key construction discipline in Shandong Province. Since its establishment nearly 50 years ago, this major has trained and transported about 3,500 senior talents of chemical process machinery for the country, with students all over the country, especially large chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, energy and other enterprises, and made great contributions to the society. With the further deepening of the country's reform and opening up, it has ushered in a good situation of vigorous development of education. On the original basis, this major will develop into an international academic exchange system with doctoral, master's, undergraduate and junior college as the basic teaching system, and exchange master's, doctoral and visiting scholars with Paderborn University in Germany. On the basis of the establishment of the laboratory and the University of Paderborn in Germany, the construction of professional disciplines will gradually be in line with the international standards, and the discipline system of teaching, scientific research and Sino-foreign joint education will be realized.

The specialty of process equipment and control engineering is playing an increasingly important role in Shandong Province and Shandong Peninsula. In Qingdao, with the development of marine science and technology, home appliance manufacturing, machining and new material base, a large-scale petrochemical industry will be built in the near future, and this discipline will play an indispensable role. The discipline of chemical process machinery, where this major is located, as the doctoral degree awarding point of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, has formed a strong process engineering support for chemical technology, bioengineering, mechanical engineering and other disciplines. Aiming at the construction of Qingdao energy base, combined with the development of marine and ship specialty, oil and gas storage and transportation specialty, process equipment and control engineering specialty, thermal energy and power engineering specialty, the construction of petroleum marine transportation, petroleum storage, petroleum refining, petroleum energy utilization, petrochemical industry and other specialties will be formed, which will provide reliable guarantee for the leap-forward supporting development of disciplines and make great contributions to scientific and technological development and national and local economic construction. There are 25 full-time teachers in this discipline, including 6 professors, 9 associate professors, 5 senior engineers 1 person, 5 lecturers and 3 teaching assistants, including 3 doctoral supervisors, 2 doctors 12 masters 10. The main research directions are pressure vessel technology, thermal energy engineering, process control technology, anti-corrosion technology, reliability and safety engineering, ultra-high pressure equipment and food processing technology, CAD/CIMS technology, etc. Through the joint efforts of all the staff in the institute, great achievements have been made in scientific research. In the past five years, the institute has undertaken more than 30 provincial, municipal and horizontal scientific research projects, with a total scientific research funding of130,000 yuan; Published more than 35 scientific research papers1in various journals, including SCI 12 and EI 3; Apply for 5 national patents. This major includes: Institute of Process Equipment and Machinery, Institute of Chemical Equipment Design. There are three laboratories: physical process laboratory, process equipment information engineering laboratory, process equipment control laboratory, safety engineering and anti-corrosion laboratory.

At present, there are 1 doctoral program, 1 master program, 1 engineering master degree awarding program, 1 undergraduate program, 1 specialist program and Sino-German joint training postgraduate program. There are more than 36 graduate students, 25 engineering graduate students and 5 15 undergraduate and graduate students. This subject has a teaching staff with high academic attainments, strong professionalism, reasonable personnel age and title structure and high academic level, which has laid a solid foundation for the rise of the specialty of process equipment and control engineering in the 2 1 century. 1. In view of the course teaching system and professional training direction of equipment control specialty, we should strengthen the training and improvement of young teachers in lectures, internships, graduation design and other links, and strengthen professional learning, so that teachers can keep up with the development direction and trend of this discipline while completing normal teaching work, actively enrich and improve teaching content, broaden teachers' teaching categories and teaching content, and require each person to take more than two courses, young teachers should take one basic course, and teachers above associate professors should take one postgraduate course. And actively carry out research in related fields and cooperation with Industry-University-Research. Ensure normal teaching order and create necessary conditions for scientific research. Actively carry out academic exchanges between China and foreign countries, and on the basis of organizing several academic exchanges between Chinese and German professors every year, send teachers of this major to German universities for study and academic exchanges.

2. Scientific research

Installation and control specialty is an old specialty, but the scientific research work is not ideal. Combined with the College and its four research laboratories, the primary task this year is to organize key teachers to actively carry out scientific research projects and carry out extensive cooperation in Industry-University-Research on the premise of ensuring teaching work. In combination with the research projects undertaken by the research laboratory, we should do something and do something different, and form several research teams as soon as possible to make key breakthroughs. While actively striving for national, provincial and municipal vertical scientific research projects, we should combine our own advantages and specialties, form a joint team, complement each other's advantages, broaden our thinking, and carry out extensive cooperation in Industry-University-Research. Actively cooperate with enterprises and social forces, and strive to establish 1 2 joint research institutes between schools and enterprises this year. Do a good job in the transformation of scientific research achievements, and strive to complete and promote the vertical project of basic application and the Industry-University-Research cooperation project 1 each. In the process of specialty construction, school-level teaching and research projects are established to complete specialty construction, curriculum construction and basic teaching experiment construction. Strive for provincial-level excellent course construction and professional construction projects. 3. Teaching and personnel training

Facing the demand of talents in the 2 1 century, starting from the teaching reform direction of "strengthening foundation, broadening specialty and cultivating ability", the general guiding principle of professional development is to improve students' quality and cultivate compound talents. Combined with the construction of basic course platform and the revision of teaching plans of various majors, we should intensify the adjustment of major direction and related contents, unify our understanding, strengthen management, complete the transformation of major direction and course content in this semester, and increase the opening of practical courses, which has concrete development in broadening majors. In terms of curriculum construction, combined with professional adjustment, new professional courses, teaching materials and personnel arrangements are specifically implemented. Strive to list the course "Process Equipment Design" as a school-level excellent course. On the basis of ensuring the original elective courses, we should develop new professional elective courses, broaden computer elective courses, especially applied courses with professional direction, and improve students' design and calculation ability, analytical ability, problem-solving ability, practical ability and innovation ability.

Intensify the construction of teaching materials, combine with the construction of school-level excellent courses, and implement the compilers, plans and specific implementation measures of five series of teaching materials on the basis of applying for key support for the compilation of "Process Equipment and Control Engineering Series", intensify the work and strive to complete it as planned. Other majors should also be synchronized in the selection and participation. Improve teaching methods, vigorously promote modern teaching methods, and strive to make all the main courses and some elective courses of this subject adopt modern teaching methods such as CAI recess, projection, slide show and video recording in the near future. In terms of external environment and hardware facilities, efforts should be made to create conditions, provide modern teaching materials for teachers, and develop CAI courseware for specialized courses in a planned way. By adopting advanced teaching methods, the purpose of reducing class hours and broadening professional content is achieved.

In practice teaching, the emphasis is on production practice. 4. Construction of material conditions

To increase laboratory construction, it is necessary to further expand the laboratory area. After the completion of compulsory experiments for undergraduates, it is necessary to build conditions for scientific research experiments, strive to build university-level, provincial-level laboratories and provincial-level key laboratories, and jointly organize research centers with enterprises or international units. At present, with the evaluation of school teaching quality, it is planned to invest 6.5438+0.2 million yuan in laboratory construction, focusing on the upgrading of experimental equipment for basic teaching content, especially the construction of comprehensive experimental content and experimental projects in this discipline, and realize 3-5 comprehensive experiments. In order to reflect the professional characteristics, cooperate with the overall professional content and textbook construction, adapt to the international teaching mode and development direction, and strive to complete the series of textbooks in this discipline within two years in textbook construction to ensure the next step of characteristic teaching. At the same time, laboratory construction and related experimental contents should be coordinated with this, and the renewal of experimental facilities should also be considered comprehensively. In the research and development of scientific research institutes and design institutes, it is necessary to increase the introduction of academic leaders, broaden financing channels in the construction of scientific research equipment, make good use of scientific research funds, unite enterprises and schools, and set up research centers and laboratories; Create good hardware conditions and scientific research platforms to ensure the introduction of master's talents and academic leaders. On the basis of the fund of 600- 1 10,000, the R&D center was built by enterprises, and several influential research and experimental verification centers were gradually formed, which reached a certain scale in a few years.

5. Main measures

On the basis of existing research institutes, we should integrate resources and strength, form a pioneering and energetic team, and carry out all-round scientific research work headed by academic leaders, so as to promote the discipline construction, especially the popularity construction. It is planned to intensify efforts in discipline leaders, research echelons and research institutes, and strive for a major breakthrough.

Academic leaders are the key to academic construction. Take advantage of the school's favorable conditions to introduce influential or potential leaders in this discipline. At the same time, in the process of introduction, we should use the research income of leaders to build experimental equipment and train a group of academic backbone teachers.

(4) Establish R&D enterprise and school center.

Schools and enterprises can cooperate more widely, and quite a few enterprises are willing to build R&D centers with universities. The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering has already had successful examples in this respect. In laboratory construction or research and development of high-level research content, we should implement the joint model with enterprises, find ways out in experimental equipment construction, personnel training, scientific research, new product research and development, broaden financing channels, and increase the construction of scientific research equipment and conditions.
