For NAS, it is relatively easy to connect through network switch, access through ip and transfer at file level.
The use of SAN is slightly more complicated than NAS. Firstly, select the HBA card of the corresponding interface according to the stored interface, such as SAS, FC and iSCSI. The HBA card is installed on the server, and the server and storage are connected directly with corresponding cables or through SAN switches. Then, the management machine accesses the storage configuration interface, maps the storage space to the HBA card, and the server installs the HBA card driver, so that the mapped disk can be found in disk management.
Different storage management methods are different. For example, ibm's early ds series needed to use storagemanage software, and now V series, like HP, directly manages access through ip.
