Is a medical waste garbage can a medical device?
10% neutral formalin does not meet the definition of medical device, is not a medical device. Article 3 of these regulations referred to as medical devices, refers to the use of the human body alone or in combination with instruments, equipment, appliances, materials or other items, including the required software; its use on the human body surface and in vivo is not obtained by means of pharmacology, immunology or metabolism, but there may be these means to participate in and play a certain auxiliary role; its use is intended to achieve the following intended purposes: (a) the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, alleviation of disease; (b) injury or disability, and the use of medical devices is not a medical device. (i) prevention, diagnosis, treatment, guardianship, and mitigation of disease; (ii) diagnosis, treatment, guardianship, mitigation, and compensation for injury or disability; (iii) study, substitution, and regulation of anatomical or physiological processes; and (iv) pregnancy control.
