Extended informationConforms to the "Mechanical Design Registered Mechanical Engineer System Interim Provisions," Article VIII requirements, and has one of the following conditions, may apply to take the basic examination:
(a) to obtain the specialty (refers to the mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, materials forming and control engineering, process equipment and control engineering specialties) or similar specialties (refers to the metal materials engineering, packaging engineering, Printing Engineering, Textile Engineering, Food Science and Engineering and other majors) undergraduate degree or above.
(b) Obtained a college degree in this or similar majors, and has been engaged in mechanical construction engineering design work for one year.
(3) Obtaining bachelor's degree or above in other majors, and has been engaged in the construction engineering design work of mechanical specialty for one year in total.
Article IV of the basic examination, and has one of the following conditions, may apply for the professional examination:
(a) after obtaining the doctoral degree in this specialty, the cumulative total of 2 years of work in mechanical construction engineering design; or after obtaining a doctoral degree in a similar specialty, the cumulative total of 3 years of work in mechanical construction engineering design.
(2) After obtaining the master's degree in this field, the cumulative total of three years in mechanical construction engineering design work; or after obtaining a master's degree in a similar field, the cumulative total of four years in mechanical construction engineering design work.
(3) After obtaining the double bachelor's degree including this specialty or the postgraduate course in this specialty, the cumulative total of 4 years in mechanical construction engineering design work; or after obtaining the double bachelor's degree including the similar specialty or the postgraduate course, the cumulative total of 5 years in mechanical construction engineering design work.
(4) After obtaining the undergraduate college degree or diploma which has passed the educational assessment of the specialty, the person has been engaged in the design of mechanical construction engineering for a total of 4 years; or after obtaining the undergraduate college degree or diploma which has not passed the educational assessment of the specialty, the person has been engaged in the design of mechanical construction engineering for a total of 5 years; or after obtaining the undergraduate college degree or diploma of the similar specialty, the person has been engaged in the design of mechanical construction engineering for a total of 6 years. 6 years of work.
(e) After obtaining the university degree in this specialty, the cumulative total of six years in mechanical construction engineering design work; or after obtaining the university degree in a similar specialty, the cumulative total of seven years in mechanical construction engineering design work.
(F) After obtaining the undergraduate degree or above in other majors, the person has been engaged in the construction engineering design work of mechanical specialty for a total of 8 years.
Article V By December 31, 2002, meet one of the following conditions, can be exempted from the basic examination, only need to take the professional examination:
(a) after obtaining the doctoral degree in this field, the cumulative total of five years of work in mechanical construction engineering design; or after obtaining the doctoral degree in a similar field, the cumulative total of six years of work in the construction engineering design of the mechanical specialty.
(2) After obtaining the master's degree in this field, the cumulative total of six years in mechanical construction engineering design work; or after obtaining a master's degree in a similar field, the cumulative total of seven years in mechanical construction engineering design work.
(3) After obtaining a double bachelor's degree including this specialty or a postgraduate course in this specialty, they have been engaged in the design of mechanical construction engineering for a total of 7 years; or after obtaining a double bachelor's degree including a similar specialty or a postgraduate course, they have been engaged in the design of mechanical construction engineering for a total of 8 years.
(4) After obtaining a bachelor's degree or a degree from a university in the same specialty, he/she has been engaged in the design of mechanical construction projects for a total of 8 years; or after obtaining a bachelor's degree or a degree from a university in a similar specialty, he/she has been engaged in the design of mechanical construction projects for a total of 9 years.
(e) After obtaining a university degree in this specialty, the cumulative total of nine years in mechanical construction engineering design work; or after obtaining a university degree in a similar specialty, the cumulative total of 10 years in mechanical construction engineering design work.
(6) After obtaining the undergraduate degree or above in other majors, the applicant has been engaged in the design of mechanical construction projects for 12 years.
(vii) After obtaining the bachelor degree or higher in other majors, he/she has been engaged in the construction engineering design work in the mechanical specialty for 15 years in total.
(viii) After obtaining the secondary school degree in this specialty, he/she has been engaged in the construction engineering design work of mechanical specialty for a cumulative total of 25 years; or after obtaining the secondary school degree in similar specialty, he/she has been engaged in the construction engineering design work of mechanical specialty for a cumulative total of 30 years.
The qualification examination is divided into basic examination and professional examination. The basic examination and meet the requirements of the professional examination under the provisions of this method, may participate in the professional examination.
