So what kind of survival kits are needed for different conditions?
There are a number of tools that are often used both indoors and in the wild, and it's important to carry them with you when you're out hiking, exploring, or camping:
Unless you're catching game or fish, a supplemental food kit is essential, and if you're only planning to be out on the trail for a day or so, a kit will suffice.
Water bottle or water bag- A must have when on a safari or traveling.
A first aid kit- It is very important to use when dealing with wounds or some common traumas.
Wooden matches and a waterproof matchbox- This is a must, when you need to camp in the wilderness for two or more days, you will need a wildfire and it plays a key role in how well you survive in the wilderness.
A newer, sturdy sleeping bag - Needless to say, this is a must-have piece of equipment for an overnight stay in the wilderness, just be sure to keep in mind that a new sleeping bag - and of course this is true of anything new - will make you feel more comfortable and warmer.
Flares, a deep fryer, full fishing gear, a can opener, a wilderness survival knife, a small shovel or hand trowel, a signaling mirror, a compass and a wilderness survival handbook-these are all important things you need to have with you to survive in the wilderness.
Specific medications that you will need to use on a daily basis-this should be included in all types of wilderness survival kits.
There are slight differences in what you need to pack in an outdoor kit for cold climates and tropical climates, depending on the climate conditions. For example, sunscreen and sunnets may be a must in tropical climates, and sometimes, even in different tropical climates, such as traveling through a tropical rainforest and traveling through a tropical desert are two completely different experiences. In a rainforest, there is easier access to water, food and places to stay, whereas a hot, arid desert can be very unforgiving, whether it's the Great Desert or the Gobi Desert. Also, camping or hiking in cold weather can be a very challenging activity, and with this ghostly weather often numbing the body and will of the traveler, how to stay warm can become a major concern. When you're exploring on the water, the gear you need in your kit becomes more complicated, and you may need to equip a certain amount of additional waterproof equipment such as inflatable valves.
Keep in mind that whichever gear you choose, the most important thing is that you understand the differences between hiking and camping in the open air, and luckily, knowledge and skills can be learned online and in the library tube.
Remember that preparation before a wilderness adventure includes not just physical preparation, not just a wilderness survival kit, but also knowledge and skills that can be the difference between life and death, you know
