In 2015, 718 Institute participated in the wind power hydrogen comprehensive utilization demonstration project in Guyuan, Hebei, responsible for technical support and hydrogen storage system, will be wide power fluctuations in high-efficiency electrolytic hydrogen production equipment project will be the organic combination of wind power technology and electrolytic hydrogen production technology, through the study of wind power output power fluctuations on the performance of electrolytic hydrogen loading, the development of research on power fluctuations in high-efficiency electrolytic hydrogen production equipment, so as to make the electrolysis hydrogen production equipment to wind power output power fluctuation tolerance of 0-100%; in 2017, 718 participated in 863's wind power coupled hydrogen storage fuel cell power generation microgrid system research and development and demonstration, to study the impact of power fluctuations on electrolysis hydrogen production; in the same year, 718 participated in Yihuatong Holding Company Hypertherm's renewable energy hydrogen production project in Zhangjiakou, and signed with Yihuatong in the field of hydrogen energy strategic cooperation agreement in the field of hydrogen energy, and provided 2000 cubic meters/hour of electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment for the project.
In order to explore how to solve the constraints of electrolytic water hydrogen production and renewable energy hydrogen production of electricity and equipment, two key factors, the 78 Institute is also committed to research and development of alkaline water electrolysis technology and pure water electrolysis technology. In the hydrogen refueling station field, 718 has participated in the design and construction of a number of hydrogen refueling station projects, including stationary hydrogen refueling stations - such as supplying core equipment to assist in the construction of Yutong's Foshan hydrogen refueling station; providing mobile and skid-mounted hydrogen refueling station devices - such as Large and medium-sized hydrogen refueling equipment with a refueling pressure of 35Mpa and a refueling capacity of 200-1,000 kilograms per day.In 2018, 718 also participated in the development project of the world's first fuel cell rail locomotive in cooperation with CSR Tangshan.
In the field of on-board hydrogen systems, Seventy-one-eight has researched and developed the design, system development, and equipment related to on-board hydrogen systems, and has now become a domestic supplier of high-pressure on-board systems for vehicles in the field of fuel trams.
