What kind of equipment does the medical waste trash can belong to?

Medical trash can is divided into five categories: infectious waste, chemical waste, cutting waste, conventional waste and special waste.

1. Infectious wastes: including infected gauze, bandages, gloves, syringes, needles, infusion sets, etc. These wastes may carry pathogens and need special treatment to prevent the spread of infection.

2. Chemical wastes: including expired or abandoned drugs, chemical reagents, fluorescent tubes, batteries, waste solvents, etc. These wastes may contain harmful substances or chemicals and need special treatment and disposal.

3. Cutting waste: including surgical blades, needles and sharp glassware. These wastes may cause stab wounds or injuries to people and need to be safely packaged and disposed of.

4. Conventional garbage: including general garbage generated in general medical environment, such as paper, plastic, food residue, gauze, etc. These wastes can be treated by traditional garbage sorting.

5. Special wastes: including radioactive substances, pathological wastes (such as tissue samples) and biomedical wastes (such as human organs and placenta).
