What is the difference between "medical beauty" and "general beauty"

The differences between "medical cosmetology" and "general cosmetology" include different employees, different establishment conditions, different licenses and different services.

First of all, employees are different

In medical beauty institutions, the main practitioners are doctors (who have obtained the practicing certificate of doctors issued by the Health and Health Commission and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau) or nurses (who have obtained the certificate of nurses issued by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Health and Health Commission).

Ordinary beauty institutions are generally graduates of professional beauty training or related majors, and some have obtained some practicing certificates, such as acupuncturists, beauticians and health workers. Some employees are recruited by the society.

Second, the conditions for establishment are different.

Medical beauty institutions: corresponding departments (cosmetic surgery, dermatology, stomatology, etc. ) needs to be set. Each department is engaged in different projects, and each department also has corresponding department setting requirements.

Ordinary beauty institutions: generally, as long as there is a beauty room, the disinfection room can meet the standard, and the relative requirements are much lower.

Third, the licenses are different.

Medical beauty institutions need to obtain the practice license of medical institutions approved by the Health and Health Commission.

Ordinary beauty institutions need to obtain a health permit approved by the Health and Health Commission.

Fourth, the content of the service is different.

The basic services of medical beauty institutions include eyebrow tattoo, double eyelids, photon rejuvenation, hair removal and injection beauty.

The basic services of life beauty include: life care, beauty salon, pedicure, facial massage, spa and so on.
