You can stay in a single room ward, but you can't enjoy the medical treatment of the deputy provincial level.

Article 94 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Civil Servants of the People's Republic of China*** and the People's Republic of China, after the retirement of civil servants, they shall enjoy the pensions and other entitlements stipulated by the state, and the state shall provide them with the necessary services and assistance for their life and health, and encourage them to give full play to their individual specialties and participate in the development of society.
Article 5 of the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National People's Congress on Approving the Provisional Provisions of the State Council on the Separation of Old Cadres from the Government for Rest and Recuperation: After cadres have retired from the government, the original standard salary (including retained salary) shall be paid as usual, and the welfare benefits shall remain unchanged. All other benefits are treated in the same way as for in-service cadres of the same rank in the region where they are located, and are effectively guaranteed. Priority shall be given to medical care, housing, transportation, and the supply of daily necessities. Retired cadres who are disabled in the line of duty and who need assistance in eating and living can generally be given a nursing fee not exceeding the standard salary of a second-grade worker in the local general machinery industry. If, for reasons such as paralysis, they are unable to take care of themselves for a long period of time, they may be given nursing fees as appropriate. Those who need to purchase invalid tools and have difficulties in doing so may be given discretionary subsidies. If a retired cadre who has been resettled across provincial boundaries really needs new housing, the original work unit shall allocate funds to the receiving area, which shall be responsible for solving the problem. Cadres rest and recuperation centers and direct management of more departments of retired cadres, should be equipped with the necessary vehicles for retired cadres.
