Jinta County belongs to the northwestern part of China, under the jurisdiction of Jiuquan City, Jiuquan area. It is located between longitude 98°1'24.68"~100°13'20.24" East and latitude 39°47'32.17"~40°58'2.08" North. It is 250 kilometers long from east to west and 400 kilometers wide from north to south. It is contiguous with Ejinagi Banner of Inner Mongolia in the east and north, bordering Jiayuguan, Yumen and Subei of Gansu in the west, and neighboring Jiuquan City and Gaotai County of Zhangye area in the south. Dazhuangzi Township is located in the downstream of Yuanyang Irrigation District of Jinta County, the terrain in the territory is slightly inclined, high in the southwest and low in the northeast, with an average elevation of 1,233 meters above sea level.
