Now farmers complain that the rural cooperative medical service charges are high, but the reimbursement is less than before. What happened?

Some articles, medicines and equipment can be declared, while others cannot. China's medical insurance system is not perfect, not only for patients, but also for doctors. But on the whole, rural medical care has helped most people and alleviated the problems of difficult and expensive medical treatment. In short, it is useful and needs to be further improved.

Rural cooperative medical system is a mutual medical security system created by Chinese farmers themselves, which plays an important role in ensuring farmers to obtain basic medical services and alleviating poverty caused by illness and returning to poverty due to illness. This should be a good thing for the benefit of the country and the people, but it should also be done well, so as to better solve farmers' doubts, sort out consumption, and let good policies be affirmed and supported by farmers.

The following are not included in the reimbursement scope of rural cooperative medical insurance: 1. Medical treatment at one's own expense (no designated hospital or referral form), drugs at one's own expense, drugs that cannot be reimbursed according to the provisions of public medical care, and medical expenses that do not conform to family planning; Provisions on the management of non-reimbursement items of the new rural cooperative medical system: 2. Outpatient treatment fee, outpatient fee, hospitalization fee, meal fee, escort fee, nutrition fee, blood transfusion fee (except for family blood storage, which is reimbursed according to relevant regulations), cold and heat fee, ambulance fee, special nursing fee, etc. Provisions on the management of non-reimbursement items of the new rural cooperative medical system: 3. Medical expenses for car accidents, fights, suicides, alcoholism, industrial accidents and medical accidents; 4. Orthopedics, cosmetology, dentistry, prosthesis, organ transplantation, consulting fees, etc. 5. Within the scope of reimbursement, exceeding the limit.

The new rural cooperative medical system is organized, guided and supported by the government, with farmers participating voluntarily, and individuals, collectives and the government raising funds through multiple channels. Farmers' medical assistance and mutual assistance system mainly focuses on serious illness planning. Rural cooperative medical care mainly provides urban medical compensation for farmers. Compared with medical insurance for urban workers, the annual reimbursement rate of each insured farmer is much lower, but the reimbursement rate can be as high as 50%. Therefore, every region that really needs medical care to enjoy substantial benefits may have different detailed regulations.
