There is no fixed model for the classification of mounters, and mounters have different classification methods according to different uses.
1. patch classification
This classification method is not commonly used in actual production, but only used for theoretical analysis. According to the classification of patches, mounters can be divided into four types: sequential, online, synchronous and simultaneous/online. Its characteristics and application scope are shown in the table.
2. Classification by patch speed (patch rate)
According to the mounting speed, the mounter can be divided into low-speed, medium-speed, high-speed and batch mounting systems (the mounting speed is greater than 20000 pieces /h).
(1) Low-speed mounter The mounting speed of low-speed mounter is less than 3000 pieces /h, and the mounting cycle time is usually less than 1s/ point, which is usually suitable for trial production, new product development, small batch production and special SMC/SMD mounting.
(2) Medium-speed mounter The pasting speed of the medium-speed mounter is usually 3000-8000 pieces /h, and the pasting cycle time is usually 1-0.5s/ point. It is suitable for SMC/SMD with wide scale, rich accessories, perfect functions, high patch accuracy and certain production efficiency. In addition, the performance and price of the equipment are relatively moderate, and it is the first choice for small and medium-sized batch production.
(3) High-speed mounter The mounting speed of high-speed mounter is above 8000 pieces /h, and the mounting cycle time is less than 0.4s/ point. High production efficiency, suitable for mass production, especially suitable for the production of a large number of patch capacitors, patch resistors, small patches and a small number of special patches.
