In 2003, the municipal party committee and the municipal government decided to relocate the whole Municipal People's Hospital to the new area in the south of the city in order to improve the medical environment and listed the project as the city's livelihood projects and key projects. The new hospital is located in Guang'an City, Guang'an District, Binhe Road, Section 4, No. 1, in June 2009, the new hospital construction was fully completed, in July of the same year, the hospital to implement the overall relocation and officially put into operation.
