In 1978, China National Machinery and Equipment Export Corporation (CNMEC) Jiangsu Branch was established, under China National Machinery and Equipment Export Corporation (CNMEC).In 1987, it started the In 1988, the company was renamed Jiangsu Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (JMEC), which was assigned to the Jiangsu Machinery Industry Department. 1992, the SUMEC brand was established. 1993, the textile and garment business was started. 1993, the self-supporting import business was started. 1993, the company was renamed Jiangsu Machinery & Equipment Import & Export (Group) Corporation (JMEC), which was assigned to the China Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (CMEC).
