According to the actual situation of special education in Xi'an, the enrollment of Xi'an Qizhi School this year will be based on the compulsory education section, and the pre-school education section will be suspended this year. Compulsory education section of the implementation of the combination of medical education, educational rehabilitation and medical rehabilitation, the main task is to ensure that children with intellectual disabilities to enjoy the right to compulsory education, in accordance with the Ministry of Education, "the experimental program of the curriculum of the school to carry out rehabilitation training and education and teaching work. The vocational education section is mainly based on the actual situation of the students, so that after vocational education, the mentally retarded students can initially realize self-care in life, and master a skill as far as possible.
In order to provide a good place for children with intellectual disabilities to learn knowledge, rehabilitation training, vocational training and social adaptation, the Xi'an municipal government has invested more than 26 million yuan in newly repairing and remodeling the rehabilitation training building, the teaching building, the dormitory building and the cafeteria. The scale of the school is 18 teaching classes, which can satisfy more than 200 students.
