Students approved for resumption will be registered by the school through the electronic school registration system and reported to the education authorities for resumption. In principle, the period of suspension is one year.

If the suspension period expires and the student is still unable to return to school, the student's parents should apply to the school for an extension of the suspension period with a certificate of diagnosis from a hospital at or above the county level or other relevant certificates, and after the school's consent and approval of the competent authority of the school registration, the student can continue to be suspended from school for a period of up to two years.
