The First People's Hospital of Qujing City was founded in June 1938, which is the first western medical institution in northeast Yunnan Province, and has gone through the stages of construction and development of Yunnan Huidian Hospital Qujing Branch, Qujing Central Health Center, Qujing Prefecture Hospital, Qujing Regional Hospital, the First People's Hospital of Qujing Region and the First People's Hospital of Qujing City. The hospital has developed into a national level 3B general hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research and teaching. Qujing Emergency Medical Rescue Center, Qujing Tumor Hospital and Qujing Infectious Disease Hospital are attached to the hospital. The hospital has been awarded the honorary title of Advanced Unit of Cultural Construction in Yunnan Province, Municipal Civilized Unit and Municipal Advanced Unit of Integrity Construction.
