Nanmeng Town, Bazhou City, Hebei Province is located 9 kilometers north of the urban area, 80 kilometers north of the capital Beijing, 75 kilometers east of Tianjin, and 90 kilometers west of Baoding. National Highway 106 and Langba Highway run through the town, and Beijing-Kowloon Railway and Tianjin-Ba Railway are connected within the town. It is 5 kilometers away from Bazhou Station of Beijing-Kowloon Railway to the south and 11 kilometers away from Tianjin-Baozhou Expressway. The town is located in the northern part of the North China Alluvial Plain. The terrain of the town is high in the north and low in the south. The highest altitude of Wangcun is 10.5 meters, and the lowest altitude of Jingezhuang is 5.5 meters. The soil is alluvial loamy fluvo-aquic soil, and the soil age is about 1160 years. There are two above-ground rivers in the territory: one is the Mangniu River, which is 10 kilometers long, runs north-south, and has a flow rate of 150 meters/second; the other is the Hongjiang River, which is 3 kilometers long, has a flow rate of 60 meters/second, and runs east-west. All belong to the water reduction and diversion of Yongding River. There are three artificial canals in the town, namely Wuzhi Canal, Yongjin Canal and Longjiang Canal, which are respectively 2000 meters, 5800 meters and 6000 meters long in the town, totaling 13800 meters. They are all main drainage canals.
