pt100 temperature measurement range

The temperature range of pt100 is -200℃~+850℃.

The resistance value of pt100 will change with the change of temperature. 100 after the PT that means it is 100 ohms at 0 degrees Celsius, at 100 degrees Celsius, its resistance value is about 138.5 ohms.

It works: When PT100 in 0 degrees Celsius when his resistance value of 100 ohms, its resistance value will rise with the temperature into a nearly uniform growth. But the relationship between them should be closer to a parabola.

Platinum resistance with the change in temperature and the change in the formula:

-200<t<0 ℃ Rt=R0[1+At+Bt*t+C(t-100)t*t*t] (1)

0 ≤ t<850 ℃ Rt=R0 (1 + At + Bt2) (2)

Rt for t ℃ when the resistance value, R0 is 0 ℃ when the resistance value. A, B, coefficients in the formula are experimentally determined.

Extended information

pt100 used in medical, motor, industrial, temperature calculation, resistance calculation and other high-precision temperature equipment, the application range is very wide.

1, thin-film platinum resistance:

Thin-film platinum resistance: vacuum deposition of thin-film technology to the platinum sputtering in the ceramic substrate, the film thickness of 2 microns or less, with the glass sintering material to the Ni (or Pd) lead fixed by the laser resistance to the thin-film components.

2, temperature sensors:

Because of the PT100 RTD temperature value and resistance changes in relation to the people then use it this feature, research and development and production of PT100 RTD temperature sensors.
