Famous disciples include Meng Sun Yang and Xin Du Zi, and the successors of his doctrine, there are Gu Zi, Zi Hua Zi, Zhan He, it clamor, Wei Mou and so on. Their doctrines were not shallow and simple "self-interest". They developed Laozi's ideas, aiming to achieve social harmony through self-improvement of the individual. Their ideas of "noble life" and "total life" were very inspiring to the later Zhuang Zhou.
Yang Zhen (? He was a native of Hongnong Huayin (east of present-day Shaanxi Huayin). He was a famous minister during the Eastern Han Dynasty. He studied the Ouyang Shangshu from his father, Yang Bao, and studied under Huan Yu, the Tai Chang. He was well versed in the scriptures and books, and was known as "Yang Boqi, the Confucius of Guanxi". Yang Zhen did not take orders from the states and counties for several decades, and only at the age of fifty did he begin to enter the civil service. He was recruited by General Deng, and then he was promoted to be the assassin of Jingzhou and the governor of Donglai.
Yuanchu four years (117 years), into the dynasty for the Imperial Servant, moved too often. In the first year of Yongning (120), he was promoted to the position of chief of staff. Yan Guang two years (123 years), on behalf of Liu Kai as a lieutenant. During his tenure, because of his integrity, he did not yield to the rich and powerful, and repeatedly spoke frankly about the shortcomings of the current political situation, which made him hated by Fan Feng, the middle minister, and so on. In the third year of Yan Guang (124), he was dismissed. He was repatriated to his hometown and died of hemlock on the way. The Emperor Shun succeeded to the throne and issued an imperial edict to vindicate the emperor.
Yang Su (544 - August 31, 606), the character Chu Dao. He was a Han Chinese, a native of Hongnong Huayin (now Shaanxi). He was a powerful courtier and poet of the Sui Dynasty, and an outstanding militarist and commander-in-chief. He came from a scholarly family of the Northern Dynasties, and was a general of the Che Cavalry during the Northern Zhou Dynasty, taking part in the campaign to pacify the Northern Qi Dynasty. He was a close friend of Yang Jian (Emperor Wen of Sui). When Yang Jian became the emperor, he appointed Yang Su as the imperial historian, and later led the navy eastward to attack Chen as the marshal of the army. After the destruction of Chen, Yang Su was knighted as the Duke of Yue and became the chief historian. When Yang Guang became the throne, he was appointed as the Chief of Staff and renamed as the Duke of Chu. After his death, he was named Jingwu posthumously.
Yang Guang, Emperor Yang (569 - April 11, 618), a Ying, Xiaozi A摐, Huayin people (now Shaanxi Huayin), the second son of Yang Jian, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty and Empress Dugu Gala of the Sui Dynasty, the second emperor of the Sui Dynasty. Born in Daxing, he was crowned King of Jin in the first year of the Kaihuang reign (581), and in November of the twentieth year of the Kaihuang reign (600) he was crowned Crown Prince, and succeeded to the throne in July of the fourth year of the Renshou reign (604), during which time he created the imperial examination system. During his reign, he initiated the imperial examination system, built the Grand Canal, constructed the Eastern Capital and relocated the capital to Luoyang, which had a great influence on the later generations. However, his frequent wars, such as the conquest of the Tugukhun and the three conquests of the Goguryeo, and his misuse of the people's power led to the rise of civil unrest. This led to the chaos of the world, which directly led to the fall of the Sui Dynasty.
Daye fourteen years (618 years), Snapdragon army in Jiangdu mutiny, Yang Guang was hanged by the rebels. Tang Dynasty posthumous Emperor Yang, Xia Wang Dou Jiande posthumous Emperor Min, his grandson Huangtai Lord Yang Dong posthumous Shizu Ming Emperor. All Sui Poetry recorded more than 40 of his poems.
