The Spanish Invincible is a fleet set up by the Spanish king for an expedition to Britain. /kloc-since the middle of the 6th century, British capitalism has developed rapidly, and it has often smuggled trade with Spanish colonies, hijacked Spanish fleets carrying property and attacked Spanish colonial strongholds. King Philip II of Spain decided to send an army to Britain.
May 1588, from Medina, big noble? The armada led by Szidonia left Spain. This fleet includes 130 warships and transport ships, 7,000 crew members and sailors, and 23,000 infantry.
From July 2 1 day to July 29 (from the end of July to the beginning of August), the fleet encountered the British navy in the English Channel and suffered heavy losses. After that, he was forced to return by way of Scotland. When passing near the northern coast of Scotland, the fleet was almost destroyed by a storm.
Since then, Spain's maritime hegemony has been replaced by Britain.

3) 1928.07.2 1: Allen, drama queens? Terry is dead.
1928 July 2 1, in Ellen? On the day Terry died, there were hardly any tears. Laughter and cheerful music are the last demands of this great actress. She once said that there should be no sad atmosphere when she dies. Two generations of admirers only need to clearly remember the innocent girl images she created in Shakespeare's plays: Portia, Olivia and Beatrice; These pictures will live in their hearts forever.
Allen Terry was born in an English drama family on127 October. At the age of eight, she made her first stage appearance as a little boy in A Winter's Story. /kloc-At the age of 0/6, Triton was a painter twice her age, George? Frederick? May 8-July 2 1, discussing the Indian zhina issue. China, the Soviet Union, the United States, Britain and France, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and South Vietnam participated in the discussion on the Indo-zhina issue. On May 7th, the French army was defeated in the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, which changed the battlefield situation in zhina. /kloc-June 0/8, Mendes who advocated a truce? Francis government came to power, and reached various agreements on restoring peace in zhina on July 20-20, 2/KLOC-0. Including the final declaration of the Geneva Conference, the agreement on cessation of hostilities in Vietnam, the agreement on cessation of hostilities in Laos and the agreement on cessation of hostilities in Cambodia. The main contents are as follows: (1) participating countries guarantee to respect the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of India and Chile; Ending the hostility of the three countries; The three countries are not allowed to join any military group or allow any foreign country to establish military bases on their territory; The military demarcation line is the 17 degree line and the slightly north of Highway 9, with the Vietnamese army assembled in the north and the French army assembled in the south; Set aside Sangnu and Fengshali in Laos as assembly areas for anti-Japanese government forces in Laos; The French army withdrew from the Japanese territory within the time limit stipulated in the agreement; Laos and Cambodia held free national elections in 1955, and Vietnam held free national elections in July 1956, realizing national reunification on the basis of democracy.
The United States did not sign the final declaration, but said it would not use threats or force to hinder the implementation of the agreement. On August 3rd1day, the Indian zhina ceased fighting. The Geneva Agreement was the result of the zhina people's anti-French war, which was beneficial to the independence of Indo-China.
5) 1960.07.2 1: The British set a new record for crossing the Atlantic alone.
1960 on July 2nd1day, a 59-year-old British adventurer, the winner of the transatlantic solo rowing race, sailed into new york harbor alone in his 39-foot sloop.
"Did you hear anything from others?" When he was a gypsy. When Moss subtype entered Hong Kong, someone asked Francis? Chichester asked. The answer is no. "Others" refers to three Englishmen and one Frenchman, who also participated in the single rowing competition. Chichester, a map publisher, set a new record for crossing the Atlantic in the previous 56 days with 16 days. He left Plymouth, England on June 1 1, and was caught in a strong wind for two days near Halifax, which delayed the repair of the ship for one day.
6) 1970.07.2 1: Aswan Dam in Egypt is completed.
1970 July 2 1. Today, Jamal? Abdul? The last engine of Nasser's dream of crossing the Nile was put into operation, and the Aswan Dam was built. This achievement is mainly attributed to the Soviets. They spent hundreds of millions of dollars on this project. 5000 Russian workers were sent to help build it. At the official inauguration ceremony of the 6,400-foot-long dam, Soviet Ambassador Noguera Dov smiled. Before the project was completed, abu simbel temple and four Ramses statues were raised by 200 feet. So they won't be submerged.
Aswan dam is divided into Aswan low dam (also known as Aswan old dam and small Aswan dam) and Aswan high dam (also known as Aswan dam). Aswan is a city under the first waterfall of the Nile in Egypt, with two dams across the Nile. Because the design of the old dam was not enough to control the flood, a new high dam was built to protect the population, farmland and cotton fields living along the river.
7) 1977.07.2 1: A four-day war broke out between Libya and Egypt.
Relations between Egypt and Libya were once good. 197 1 In September, Egypt, Libya and Syria announced the establishment of the "United Arab States", aiming to "merge" completely before 1973. However, due to the contradictions in the founding of the country, it failed to be realized. 1973 after the middle east war, Sadat pursued the policy of peaceful settlement of the middle east issue, which made his interests dissatisfied and the contradictions between the two sides became more and more open. 1977 On July 2 1 day, an armed conflict broke out at the border between the two sides. After the conflict, Algerian President Boumeddin mediated between the two sides, and the PLO, UAE and Arab League all called for or took action to ease the conflict. On the 26th, the two sides ceased fire. /kloc-in October, Sadat visited Israel. On February 2, 65438, Gaddafi hosted the "Rejection Front" summit, condemned Egypt's "betrayal", called on Arab countries to stop all aid to Egypt, and announced the freezing of diplomatic relations with Egypt. On the 5th, Egypt announced the breaking of diplomatic relations with Libya. Since then, the two sides have still deployed heavy troops on the border and blamed each other, resulting in tension.
The conflict in July 1977 was along the desert border. In the 1920s, Marshal graziani's Italian Legion was here with the leaders of Sanou West and the Order of Omar? Libyan tribal people led by mukhtar fought. An Egyptian who visited the battlefield described the "Four Days" War as "massive bloodshed". The war showed Gaddafi that Sadat had made up his mind to contain subversive activities in Libya. However, this war also showed Sadat and the General Staff of the Egyptian army that many Soviet-made weapons and equipment of Gaddafi were ordered and delivered at the time of 1974, and a huge military arsenal was formed. This military arsenal may have changed the balance of power between North Africa and the central Mediterranean.
The situation in Chad further complicates the Eli conflict. 1977 July 1 1, Egyptian vice president Hosni? Mubarak, who later succeeded Sadat as president, suddenly came to N 'Djamena. At that time, the Chadian government was condemning Libya, claiming that 4,000 Libyan soldiers invaded northern Chad and fought FNL in an attempt to establish a Tubu state in northern Chad. Libya denied these allegations, but Egypt and Sudan declared their support for the Chadian government. Gaddafi's propaganda put N 'Djamena? Cairo? The Khartoum statement was called "declaration of war".
After July of 2 1 year, the military communiqué of Egypt and Libya declared that hostilities were still developing, but the reports of daily events were quite different. Egypt's first statement described the incident in the desert about 60 miles south of the Egyptian border city of Salloum on July 16, and said that the incident was caused by a Libyan patrol killing nine Egyptian soldiers. It is reported that the Egyptian army crossed the border and pursued the Libyans fiercely until they reached the small oasis in Musaed. Egyptians claimed that they destroyed 40 tanks and two planes in Libya and captured 12 Libyan soldiers and 30 "saboteurs"-possibly guerrillas or commandos who crossed the border. Libyans don't think so. They reported that fighting broke out in July 14, when Egyptians attacked Libyan border posts and captured 12 Libyan soldiers. After submitting a protest note and demanding the release of prisoners, the Libyan army captured an Egyptian patrol of 12 people on July 6. Libyans said that the commander in the border area of Libya suggested that the two sides exchange prisoners of war the next day and warned Egyptians to withdraw from the areas occupied by their armed forces for "several months". According to Libyans, after the ultimatum expired, they recovered the area. In this battle, 22 Egyptian soldiers were killed, 33 soldiers were captured and an Egyptian plane was shot down over Sidi Amr. Libyans claimed that two Egyptian planes were shot down when they attacked Balada village. On July 22nd, the fighting became more intense due to the heavy bombing of Adem Air Force Base by Egyptian planes. Libya reported that five attack planes were shot down and Egyptian paratroopers launched a tentative attack on the town of Qasr Jeddah. Cairo denied this. On July 23rd, Libya reported that Egypt had carried out air strikes on villages in the bloody sands, Couvrat, Musaed, Djallabou, Balada and Qasr Jeddah, and claimed that eight other Egyptian planes were shot down. Cairo only admitted that there was a gun battle near Salloum. On July 24, the last day of fierce fighting, Libyans announced that Egyptian pilot Abdul? Hamid. Major Effat was captured alive in another Egyptian air raid.
The Egyptian air raid on Adem Air Force Base was aimed at destroying the radar station managed by Soviet experts. Cairo admitted that the Egyptian Air Force lost two planes in the attack. According to the Cairo newspaper, this radar station not only monitors the movements of the Egyptian army, but also monitors the activities of the US Sixth Fleet and NATO armed forces in the Mediterranean. President Sadat later said that a Soviet helicopter carrier cruising in the Mediterranean used jamming radio and electronic jamming equipment on board to monitor and disrupt Egyptian military communications and monitor the activities of the nearby US Navy.
On July 25th, President Sadat ordered a ceasefire, but Colonel Gaddafi never ordered a ceasefire. On August 1, Major Jalloud talked about the losses in Libya. 27 people were killed, 9 people were missing, 9 tanks were destroyed and 2 planes were shot down. Cairo has never released any casualty figures, but diplomats in North Africa estimate that Egypt suffered heavy losses.
8) 1983.07.2 1: Polish government's law on lifting martial law.
July 2 1983 Polish officials announced today that martial law, which restricts Poles' life for 19 months, will be officially lifted. Polish leader Wojciech? General Jaruzelski imposed martial law on June 5438+098 1 June 65438+February to suppress the independent solidarity trade union. Despite today's decision, Poles will not see much change, and many control clauses have been completely written into laws and regulations. Jaruzelski said that the end of martial law was "a proof of the goodwill of the authorities". However, he firmly said: "Any activity aimed at anti-socialism will, as always, be resolutely stopped.
9) 1990.07.2 1: China establishes diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia, the full name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It means "Happy Desert". Located in the Arabian Peninsula in southwest Asia. It covers an area of 2.24 million square kilometers. Population16.93 million (1992), mostly Arabs. The official language is Arabic. Islam is the state religion. Riyadh, the capital. Resources are famous for oil, as well as iron, copper, gold, silver, chromium and zinc. Oil revenue is the main economic source. Since 1980' s, it has developed into a diversified economy with industry and agriculture as the mainstay, and realized food self-sufficiency. The per capita GDP is 6633 USD (1992). The main agricultural products are dates, wheat, barley and tomatoes. Animal husbandry includes sheep, camels, cattle and poultry. Industry has established an industrial system based on petroleum, natural gas, petrochemical industry, steel, aluminum smelting, cement, seawater desalination and electricity. The export products are mainly oil; Import means of production, service equipment and various consumer goods. The Arab Empire was founded in the 7th century. /kloc-became a remnant of the Ottoman empire in the 0/6th century, and/kloc-was invaded by the British in the 0/9th century. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was founded in 1932, and September 23rd is the National Day. Pursue a neutral and non-aligned foreign policy, strive to strengthen a multi-faceted foreign policy toward Islamic and Arab countries, actively develop relations with Western Europe and Japan, and attach importance to developing relations with China. China and Saudi Arabia established diplomatic relations on July 2 1.
10)1990.07.21:The Beijing Electron Positron Collider has officially passed the acceptance.
1990 July 2 1 day, Beijing electron-positron collider project officially passed the national acceptance. This national key project with an investment of 240 million yuan was laid in 1984 by Comrade Deng Xiaoping himself. 1988 10 October electron-positron collision realization. This is another major breakthrough in the high-tech field in China after the successful explosion of atomic bombs and hydrogen bombs and the launch of satellites. The electron-positron collider is a device that collides electrons with electrons. It accelerates various particles (such as protons and electrons) to extremely high energy, and then bombards fixed targets. By studying the various reactions produced when high-energy particles collide with particles in the target, the properties of their reactions are studied and new particles and phenomena are found. Bombarding a stationary target with accelerator particles is like a car hitting a parked car in a traffic accident. A large part of the collision energy is consumed to make the car parked on the side of the road rush forward, so the collision power is not strong enough. If two cars traveling in opposite directions at high speed collide head-on, the collision force will be many times greater. Based on this idea, scientists successfully developed the collider in the early 1970s. At present, there are more than 10 colliders in the world. China began to build the electron-positron collider in Beijing in 1984. After four years of design, construction and debugging, it has been put into operation. The energy of the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider is 2.8 billion electron volts. This was decided after careful consideration according to the national conditions of China. On the one hand, China's current economic situation cannot afford more money to build a higher-energy collider; On the other hand, there was no collider in this energy region in the world at that time. After the completion of the collider in China, it will fill this gap and carry out some research work that has not been carried out or rarely carried out in other countries. Beijing Electron Positron Collider consists of injector, storage ring and spectrometer. The injector is a linear accelerator more than 200 meters long, which can accelerate electrons and positrons. Its function is to generate and accelerate the positive and negative electron beam clusters, accelerate the positive and negative electron beam clusters to the energy of 1 1 100 million electron volts respectively, and then inject them into the storage ring through the beam transport line. The storage ring is an annular accelerator with a circumference of about 240 meters, which consists of 40 annular deflection magnets, 60 focusing magnets, two high-frequency acceleration cavities and other auxiliary equipment. In order to prolong the lifetime of positron and negative electron clusters, the ultra-high vacuum state must be maintained in the ring. After the positive and negative electron beams are injected into the storage ring, they rotate along opposite trajectories in the ring under the action of magnetic field. After accumulating and accelerating to the required energy, they can collide at a certain collision point. The data of these collisions are measured and recorded by spectrometer near the collision point, and analyzed. Dr. Li Zhengdao, a Nobel Prize winner, a world-famous physicist and a Chinese American, believes that the engineering speed, the quality of various equipment and components and the level of installation and debugging of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider are first-class in the world.
11)1995.07.21:The first cross-sea railway in northern China was opened to traffic.
1July 2, 9951day, Jinyao Railway, a new railway in Dayaowan Port Area of Dalian Port, was officially opened to traffic yesterday. This is the first cross-sea railway in northern China.
Dayaowan Port is a newly-built seaport located in the east of Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone. The water depth here is not frozen, and it is planned to build a world-class port. But there is no railway here, and everything imported and exported has to be transported by car, which costs more than 200 million yuan a year than train transportation. Therefore, the Ministry of Railways invested more than 300 million yuan to build a full-length 17.76 km railway from Jinzhou to Dayaowan Port, and connected it with Harbin (Erbin) Dalian (Dalian) Railway. This railway crosses Dalian Bay twice, Dayao Bay once, and there is a mountain. Its geological conditions are called "museums".
12)1998.07.26438+0: Allen, the first American astronaut? Sheppard is dead
Allen bartlett Shepard, Jr.
Allen, the first American to go into space? On the evening of July 2 1, Shepard died of illness in a hospital in a seaside town in California, USA, at the age of 74. According to a hospital spokesman, Shepard lived a peaceful life in his sleep.
According to Senator John, Shepard's colleague and famous astronaut, he has retired and will return to space at the age of this year? Glenn said that Shepard suffered from leukemia for a long time before his death.
US President Bill Clinton called Shepard one of the "greatest astronauts" in the United States at the White House that day and thanked Shepard for his "pioneering work" on behalf of the country. He said: "His works will always occupy an important position in American history. He is one of the greatest heroes of modern America. "
Sheppard was born in a banker's family on 1923+065438+ year1October 8, and received a degree from Annapolis Naval Academy on 1944. During World War II, he served on the destroyer Cogswell in the Pacific Ocean. 196 1 On May 5th, 2008, Shepard made an epoch-making event in American aviation history: he took off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, and made the Mercury Freedom 7 spacecraft orbit the earth for 15 minutes, five of which were spent in real space. The spaceship took him into space at an altitude of 185 km, and then landed in the Atlantic Ocean.
The flight was carried out 23 days after Gagarin, the first Soviet astronaut in space. Sheppard said afterwards: "This is only the first step for a baby to learn to walk, in order to make greater and better progress in the future." Eight years later, American astronaut Armstrong confirmed his words. Armstrong became the first man to land on the moon in the world, and proudly declared that it was "one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind".
However, with the rapid development of space technology in the United States, Shepard left the aviation industry for nearly 10 years because of the inner ear disease affecting his balance function. It was not until 197 1 that he finally landed on the moon and became the flight commander of Apollo 14 manned lunar lander. This flight also made him the only one who played golf on the moon. When he hits the ball with a club, the ball travels much faster through the thin lunar atmosphere than on the earth.
Speaking of this experience, Sheppard said an interesting thing: he went to his boss and said, "I want to play golf on the moon." The boss's answer to him is: "Shepard, you have been giving me trouble for 15 years." Rejected his request. But Shepard finally got what he wanted.
Shepard retired as a major general in 1974. 1994, he cooperated with a colleague and published a book reflecting his space career. Sheppard is one of the seven Mercury astronauts originally designated by NASA. He will bring America into the space age in 1959. After his death, only four out of seven people remained in the world. They are: Glenn and Scotts? Carpenter, Gordon? Cooper and Walter. Sila. Glen, in his prime, decided to return to space by spaceship later this year. If all goes well, he will become the oldest person to go into space.

Yang Likun (1941April 24-July 2, 20001), a China film actress, is a Yi nationality. Born in Mohei Town, Pu 'er County, Yunnan Province, I loved literature and art since I was a child. She has 1 1 brothers and sisters, ranking ninth. People call her "Little Jiu-Er". 65438-0954 Join Yunnan Song and Dance Troupe as a soloist. 1959 18 years old, Wang Jiayi, the director of changchun film studio, was chosen to lead the leading role in the romantic comedy film Five Golden Flowers, which reflected the socialist construction of the Bai people in the Great Leap Forward. The film premiered on 1959 and 12, and it was an immediate sensation. It was shown in 46 countries, and won the Silver Eagle Award for Best Film at the 2nd Egyptian Asian-African Film Festival 1960, and Yang Likun also won the Silver Eagle Award for Best Actress. Subsequently, Yang Likun was received by Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Chen Yi and other leaders, and performed abroad with the Song and Dance Troupe for many times. 1964 starred in the heroine Ashima in the movie Ashima, which reflected the love story of Sani nationality (a branch of Yi nationality) in ancient Yunnan.
1965 On the eve of the release of Ashima, the Ministry of Culture stopped the release of Ashima on the grounds that the film "did not praise the excellent situation of the socialist revolution and made a biography for the dead" and "preached the supremacy of love and was full of bourgeois sentiment", and the copy was sealed. Before that, she was blocked by love and was once insane. She has recovered after hospitalization. But this time it became a "black seedling" and a "black character". After the Cultural Revolution, he was persecuted and tortured and suffered from schizophrenia. He once disappeared and wandered to the border town far away, and his condition was slightly relieved after being found. 1970, because some political remarks were labeled as "positive counter-revolution", the spirit completely collapsed.
1973 Yang Likun married Shanghainese Tang Fenglou. After coming out of Chenzhou Mental Hospital, Yang Likun lived alone in Kunming. 1976 After the Cultural Revolution, she was sent to Changpo Mental Hospital. Later, Tang Fenglou transferred her to Shanghai mental hospital. After the Cultural Revolution, 65438-0978 lived in Shanghai and nominally became an actor in Shanghai Film Studio. She has been living a relatively stable life and her illness has eased. On July 2, 2000, Kloc-0, died at home in Shanghai due to long-term illness and decreased physical function. Her tombstone is one in Shanghai and one in Kunming, with half ashes on each side.
Yang Likun and Tang Fenglou have twin sons.
