Emergency Department is the key department of the hospital. There are 33 medical and nursing staffs, all of them are sitting in the clinic with the title of attending physician or above. It has a rescue room, guardianship room, observation room, emergency operation room, treatment room, trauma room, and is an independent emergency center integrating internal medicine, surgery, and pediatric emergency care. It implements an advanced integrated emergency care model and establishes a series of rapid response mechanisms.
The department has multifunctional monitor, automatic gastric lavage machine, suction and expiration machine, defibrillator and other equipments, which can quickly and effectively treat all kinds of heavy trauma, poisoning and other critical emergency patients, and treats more than 50,000 emergency patients annually, and the resuscitation success rate reaches more than 96%.
The ambulance of the hospital is available 24 hours a day and free of charge. ICU is the key department of the hospital. There are 25 medical and nursing staff, equipped with life information monitoring system, central oxygen supply system and sputum suction system. It has rescue and treatment facilities such as monitor, ventilator, blood gas analyzer, micro-injector, cranial hypothermia instrument and bedside X-ray photo machine.
Using modern instruments and equipments, the department monitors the parameters of heart, lung, brain, liver, kidney and other vital organs of the critically ill patients, judges the changes of the condition in time, and adopts targeted medical and nursing care measures to help the patients to pass through the life-threatening unstable state, and improves the success rate of the critically ill patients' resuscitation. Orthopedics is a key department in the hospital. It has 70 beds and two wards: Bone I and Bone II. The department has rich clinical diagnosis and treatment experience for all kinds of common and difficult diseases in orthopedics, and completes more than 1,000 cases of all kinds of surgeries annually, and ranks among the forefront of similar hospitals of the same level in the diagnosis and treatment of bone trauma.
The department has successfully carried out minimally invasive treatment surgeries for various orthopedic diseases such as small incision spinal internal fixation, small incision treatment for lumbar disc herniation, arthroscopic surgery, percutaneous internal fixation of fracture, closed intramedullary nailing, etc.; hip, knee, shoulder and other artificial prosthesis replacement and revision surgeries; and microscopic prosthetic repair of blood vessels of the limbs, nerves, muscles, and bone contusions. It can skillfully carry out various kinds of difficult surgeries on spine, pelvis and acetabulum, meanwhile, it regularly invites orthopedic experts from Shanghai and Hangzhou to carry out various kinds of complicated and difficult surgeries in the hospital.
The research project of Jinhua City carried out by the department, "Perioperative Deep Vein Hemodynamics of Lower Extremity in Total Hip Replacement", has reached the domestic advanced level.
The department has been awarded the honorary title of "2006 Youth Civilization" by the Municipal Committee of Youth League. The Department of Hand Surgery is a key department in the hospital. With 35 medical and nursing staff, 66 beds, two wards and a specialized operating room, it is the first specialized treatment center for hand injuries and diseases in Yiwu City and neighboring counties.
Strong technical force, carried out a multi-finger multi-segment smashing disarticulation replantation, various types of free skin flap transplantation, foot bunion flap toe transplantation finger reconstruction and hand function reconstruction and other surgeries, broken finger replantation success rate of more than 95%, finger reconstruction success rate of more than 98%. The department has completed 3 scientific research projects, all of which have reached the domestic advanced level and the leading level in the province, and has won the city's only Zhejiang Provincial Medical and Health Science and Technology Achievement Innovation Award and the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Advancement of Yiwu Municipal People's Government. In particular, the department carries out the use of chest small incision surgery, with small incisions, without cutting the muscle ribs, less bleeding, fast recovery and other characteristics. Department of Internal Medicine The department focuses on cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, endocrine and neurology specialties, with 12 internal medicine specialists with senior titles, 110 beds, and three wards, namely, Internal 1, Internal 2 and Internal 3.
It has rich clinical experience in common and difficult diseases in internal medicine, especially in the treatment of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, liver disease, stroke, skin and acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases by combining traditional Chinese and Western medicines, which has a good therapeutic effect. It has carried out the thrombolytic treatment of myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction, stained gastroenteroscopy for early detection of gastrointestinal malignant tumors, esophageal foreign body removal, and endoscopic lancing or sclerotherapy for upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, and other treatment programs. The department admits and treats nearly 2,000 patients annually, of which more than 20% are critically ill, with the success rate of resuscitation reaching more than 96%, and carries out nearly 6,000 cases of painless gastroenteroscopy annually, which has a certain degree of social visibility.
In addition, in Yiwu City, the first to carry out hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for the treatment of lung cancer, as well as autologous bone marrow stem cell transplantation for the treatment of coronary heart disease, have been successful, and have reached the technical level of the provincial level hospitals.
