Energy-saving lamps have the advantages of energy saving and soft light, and are deeply loved by consumers. However, the market for free energy-saving lamps is mixed, so how do you choose an energy-saving lamp that you are satisfied with among the dazzling array of energy-saving lamps in lighting stores? This requires understanding the structure, parameters and other basic indicators of energy-saving lamps.
Most of the energy-saving lamps currently on the market are compact (CFL), which are small in size and have the same socket as incandescent lamps. General energy-saving lamps are classified according to the shape of the lamp tube: they are named pictographically with English letters, such as: H-shaped, U-shaped, D-shaped, spiral, etc. Different shapes adapt to different assembly needs, and some also put a transparent or frosted cover on the outside of the lamp to protect the lamp and soften the light.
The basic parameters of energy-saving lamps are divided into two categories: optical parameters and electrical parameters. Users should focus on the following when purchasing energy-saving lamps.
1. The power (P) reflects the power consumption of the lamp. The specifications range from -36W, and 9-13W is more suitable for lighting a small area of ??several square meters. The energy-saving lamps of these types of power are relatively mature in technology and relatively cost-effective. For room lighting of more than 100,000 square meters, 32-36W straight energy-saving lamps can be used.
2. Power factor
3. The total current harmonics (THD) should generally be below 50%. The smaller this value, the smaller the harmonic current, and the smaller the high-frequency interference generated during use.
4 Luminous flux and luminous flux maintenance rate: the former reflects the luminous efficiency of the lamp, the larger the value, the better; the latter indicates the speed of lamp aging; generally the maintenance rate after 2000 hours should be above 80% .
5 The color index
(1> Products with the Great Wall logo or safety certification should be selected. Such as PHILPS, GE, OSRAM, Weihai Beiyang, Sunshine Group, Far East , Jianhu, Shangdian, Siyang Light Bulb Factory, etc. It is also important to choose products with exquisite packaging, exquisite appearance, complete manufacturer's address, telephone number and technical instruction manual.
<2> Look at the startup performance. It is best if you have a voltage regulator when purchasing. When the power is off, first adjust the voltage regulator to 150V (according to the minimum starting voltage index listed in the manual), then install a naturally placed energy-saving lamp, keeping your hands and body away. It is best to ignite the lamp at once when the power is turned on. This is because energy-saving lamps have two characteristics: first, the higher the temperature, the easier it is to start; second, it is worth mentioning that many energy-saving lamps are easy to start under the influence of human body induction. It lights up as soon as it is turned on, which is detrimental to the life of the bulb. Energy-saving lamps should be equipped with a filament preheating circuit inside the lamp, and a delay time of about 0.4 seconds for the start-up time. Therefore, "one ash ignites" should be understood as small flicker when starting, and the lamp tube There should be no redness inside. (3) Check the interference. Electromagnetic compatibility is a must-have performance for electrical appliances. When purchasing, users should check whether there is a mark of passing the national electromagnetic compatibility test 〈4〉. Under normal working conditions, the temperature rise of the energy-saving lamp should be very low. Otherwise, the life of the energy-saving lamp will be very short. At the same time, when the energy-saving lamp is lit, the ends of the lamp tube are black and the filament is red or flashing. There are quality problems. <5> Appearance acceptance. The plastic shell of energy-saving lamps must be made of flame-retardant engineering plastics. Ordinary plastics are prohibited from being used in the production of energy-saving lamps. In addition, from the perspective of the lamp tube, multiple lamps can be placed. Comparing them together, the lamps with better consistency in shape and size are mostly mass-produced products, and the quality is guaranteed. At the same time, the outer casing should not be cracked or loose, and the seal should not have signs of being pried.
