China Environmental Protection Product Certification was formerly known as Environmental Protection Product Recognition implemented by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China. 1996, according to the State Council, the State Environmental Protection Administration of the People's Republic of China (SEPA), which is responsible for the establishment of environmental protection qualification and recognition system, initiated China's Environmental Protection Product Recognition System; 2000, SEPA issued a notice on matters relating to adjustment of the work of Environmental Protection Product Recognition.
