Most blue and purple lavender home is the southern Mediterranean region of Europe and the southern foothills of the Alps (including Provence).
There are two types of pink lavender:
french lavender is from the French highlands;
lodden pink lavender is from Scotland.
White lavender is produced in Scotland and in northern England and Wales.
