What is the "IML process"?

The IML process is in-mold insert molding.

The very significant feature of its process is that the surface is a hardened transparent film, the middle is a printed pattern layer, and the back is a plastic layer. As the ink is sandwiched in the middle, the product can be prevented from scratching the surface and friction resistance, and the color can be maintained for a long time to keep the color sharp and not easy to fade.

Currently there are two manufacturing methods of IMD:

:1, one is to make the printed Film film into a circular drum roll tape, installed into the injection molding machine and injection molds, such as the label Label pasted to the front of the mold surface of the full-automatic cycle of the belt mobile production out; that is, people call IMR (in the mold transfer printing injection molding).

2, the other is the Film film printed through the molding machine Forming molding, and then after cutting placed into the injection mold production out. That is called IML (in the mold film injection molding).
