School health work regulations

Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to strengthen the school health work, improve the health of students, the formulation of these regulations. Article 2 The main tasks of school health work are: monitoring the health status of students; health education for students, cultivate good hygiene habits; to improve the school health environment and teaching hygiene conditions; to strengthen the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, common diseases among students. Article 3 The schools referred to in these regulations refer to ordinary primary and secondary schools, agricultural secondary schools, vocational secondary schools, secondary specialized schools, technical schools and ordinary schools of higher education. Article 4 The administrative department of education is responsible for the administrative management of school health work. The administrative department of health is responsible for the supervision and guidance of school health work. Chapter II requirements for school health work Article V. Schools should rationalize the arrangement of students' study time. Students daily study time (including self-study), no more than six hours in elementary school, no more than eight hours in secondary school, no more than ten hours in college.

Schools or teachers shall not, for any reason or in any way, increase the amount of time for instruction and homework, increasing the burden of learning on students. Article 6 school teaching buildings, environmental noise, indoor microclimate, lighting, lighting and other environmental quality, as well as blackboards, desks and chairs shall be set up in accordance with the relevant national standards.

New, remodeled, expanded school buildings, their location, design should be in line with national health standards, and obtain permission from the local health administrative department. Completion and acceptance shall have the local health administrative department. Article 7 Schools shall set up toilets and hand-washing facilities for students in accordance with relevant regulations. Boarding schools should provide students with appropriate washing, bathing and other sanitation facilities.

Schools should provide students with sufficient drinking water that meets hygiene standards. Article VIII of the school shall establish a health system, strengthen the students' personal hygiene, environmental hygiene and classroom, dormitory hygiene management. Article IX schools should conscientiously implement food hygiene laws and regulations, strengthen the management of dietary hygiene, run a good student meals, strengthen nutritional guidance. Article 10 school sports venues and equipment should meet the health and safety requirements. Sports programs and sports intensity should be suitable for students' physiological tolerance and physical health, to prevent injuries. Article XI of the school shall, according to the age of the students, organize students to participate in appropriate labor, and to participate in the work of the students, safety education, provide the necessary safety and health protection measures.

Ordinary primary and secondary schools to organize students to participate in labor, shall not allow students to be exposed to poisonous and harmful substances or engaged in unsafe types of work, shall not allow students to participate in the night shift labor.

Ordinary schools of higher learning, secondary specialized schools, technical schools, agricultural secondary schools, vocational secondary schools to organize students to participate in production work, exposure to toxic and harmful substances, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State, to provide health care treatment. Schools should be regular physical examination of them to strengthen health protection. Article 12 When arranging physical education classes and physical activities such as labor, schools shall pay attention to the physiological characteristics of female students and give them the necessary care. Article 13 Schools shall incorporate health education into their teaching programs. Ordinary primary and secondary schools must provide health education classes, ordinary schools of higher learning, secondary specialized schools, technical schools, agricultural secondary schools, vocational secondary schools shall provide health education elective courses or lectures.

Schools should carry out student health counseling activities. Article 14 The school shall establish a student health management system. According to the conditions of regular physical examination of students, the establishment of student physical health card, into the student file.

Schools on the physical examination of students found to have organic diseases, should cooperate with the parents of students to do a good job of referral for treatment.

Schools for disabled, frail students, should strengthen the medical care and mental health work. Article XV schools should be equipped with medical supplies that can deal with general injuries and accidents. Article XVI of the school shall actively do myopia, amblyopia, trachoma, dental caries, parasites, malnutrition, anemia, spinal curvature, neurasthenia and other common diseases of students in the group prevention and corrective work. Article XVII of the school shall conscientiously implement the laws and regulations for the prevention and control of infectious diseases, do a good job in the prevention and control of acute and chronic infectious diseases management, and at the same time do a good job in the prevention and control of endemic diseases management. Chapter III Management of school health work Article 18 The administrative departments of education at all levels shall incorporate school health work into the school's work plan, as an assessment of the work of the school. Article 19 The general schools of higher learning, secondary specialized schools, technical schools and larger agricultural secondary schools, vocational secondary schools, general primary and secondary schools, can set up a health management organization, the management of school health work. Article 20 schools of higher learning shall have a school hospital or health department. School hospitals should be set up health section (room), responsible for the health care of teachers and students.

Urban primary and secondary schools, rural centers and general secondary schools set up health rooms, according to the number of students six hundred to one ratio of full-time health technicians.

Secondary specialized schools, technical schools, agricultural secondary schools, vocational secondary schools, can be equipped with full-time health technicians according to need.

Schools with less than six hundred students can be equipped with full-time or part-time health teachers to carry out school health work. Article 21 With the approval of the health administrative department of the region, can set up regional primary and secondary school students' health care institutions.

The main tasks of regional primary and secondary school students' health care institutions are:

(1) to investigate and study the physical health status of primary and secondary school students in the region;

(2) to carry out the prevention and treatment of common diseases among primary and secondary school students;

(3) to carry out technical training and business guidance for primary and secondary school health technicians.
