Nursing duty and shift handover management system
This system defines the work requirements for nursing staff on duty and shift handover. It is used to control the process of duty and shift handover for all nurses to ensure that nursing staff participate in the duty and shift handover work according to the specified requirements.
I. Responsibilities:

Second, the content and requirements:
1. duty:
(1) separate duty personnel should be registered nurses; internship nurses are not allowed to separate duty.
(2) Each ward has a 24-hour duty officer. The duty officer must conscientiously fulfill his duties and fill in the duty record.
(3) Without the handover, the duty officer shall not leave his post without authorization.
(4) On time rounds, grasp the condition, found that the condition changes in time to report to the doctor on duty.
(5) Responsible for new admissions, emergency patients, the disposal of critically ill patients in the ward and rescue work.
(6) Completes the work of the shift on time and accurately, and guides the work of internship and refresher nurses and hygienists.
(7) Participate in the management of the sick room and the visiting and accompanying staff, turn out the lights on time, inquire about any suspicious person, and report to the superior in time in case of any important or abnormal situation.
(8) additional equipment shift staff on holidays, daytime duty staff shall not be less than three people, shift preparation staff should maintain effective contact with the ward.
2. Shift handover:
(1) The ward collective shift handover once a day in the morning.
(2) Before the shift handover, the nurse on duty should complete a good variety of nursing records, check the completion of the work to prevent errors or omissions.
(3) The order of shift handover is as follows: nurse shift report, nursing record sheet, special circumstances and related notes, bedside handover, handover with the treatment shift and the main shift.
(4) the content of the bedside handover is: critical, new admissions, the day of surgery, is being infused and the first level of care of the patient; the main handover of the patient's condition, treatment, care, skin, fluid input, the implementation of the medical prescription and the new patient's general situation.
3. Shift:
(1) to do a good job of shift preparation: neatly dressed, dignified instrument, full of spirit.
(2) to participate in the shift, concentrate, listen carefully to the shift personnel handed over the situation.
