In May, 2004, a group of urban adventure lovers A group of urban adventure enthusiasts infiltrated an abandoned naval dockyard in South Plymouth, England, where an ancient lampshade, a dirty mattress, a tipped-over television set, and even a few collapsed wooden beams were the fruits of their explorations. Suddenly someone discovers a bonus: he hears the sound of a woman's sobs coming from deep inside the cabin. ......
From the Mummy Spell
Between 1923 and 1930, the deaths of 22 people in the UK caused a great deal of excitement in the magazines and newspapers. The cause of their deaths all pointed to the same thing - the mummy spell. The first to fall was Lord Carnarvon (George Edward Herbert), who in 1914 acquired the right to excavate Egypt's "Valley of the Kings", and in November 1922, with an entourage of 30 specialists, found "marvelous things" in the valley's mausoleums: gold castings and a large number of mummies. In November 1922, with an entourage of 30 experts, he found "all sorts of marvelous things" inside the tomb of Maku: statues, animals and mummies cast in gold, which became one of the most important discoveries in the history of archaeology. But following this "marvelous", four months later, Lord Carnarvon fell ill in Cairo, the cause of which is not known, but a doctor said it was an infection caused by a mosquito bite on the left side of the face. He survived until April 5, when Carnarvon chanted, "It's over, I've heard the call, I'm ready." He died. He died when there are two other strange things:Cairo suddenly the whole city power outage; in Lord's hometown of England, Lord's favorite dog also died at the same time.
Carnarvon's death caused people to speculate, it is said that when the mummy found by Lord opened, the body inside the left cheek has a wound, and Carnarvon was mosquito bites the same part. The "mummy curse" began to spread, and legend has it that the translation of the inscription in the tomb included, "Anyone who enters this tomb with an impure heart, I will strangle him like a bird." "Whoever destroys this inscription will not be able to return home, will not be able to hold his children, and will not see hope." Scientists who entered the tomb afterward died of strange illnesses, and in 1929, Lord's wife also collapsed, her death also allegedly caused by a mosquito sting on her left cheek. During those years, the "mummy curse" became a huge news story, and 22 people involved in the excavation died unnatural deaths.
In addition to causing panic, the "mummy curse" also stimulated some scientists and paranormal enthusiasts. Unlike the old rituals to appease the dead and stay out of the house to prevent disturbing the evil spirits, they brought the "ghosts" to the forefront of their research. By the 1960s, the University of Edinburgh, Brunel University, the University of Liverpool and many other schools to open the mysticism program, the emergence of the so-called "soul scientists". More folk "ghost hunter team" was established, running around the British Isles, ghosts seem to have occupied the island overnight: Hampton Court Palace in London found the ghost of King Henry VIII's fifth wife; Edinburgh South Bridge Bridge arch inhabited by a family of ghosts under the family of old and young; York from the cathedral to the bar ladies' toilets are haunted, known as the "ghost city". "Ghost City"......
But the formal and informal study of the various ways, the "ghost" thing has never been conclusive. There are two camps, represented by Dr. Richard Wiseman of the University of Hertfordshire, who firmly believes that "ghosts" are a psychological phenomenon that exists only in people's imagination. The other camp believes that "ghosts" exist in the world, but from a different point of view: one says that ghosts are the souls of the dead. "Souls exist within our physical bodies, and when we die, our souls go to another dimension, but the souls themselves may not be aware of their condition." Another theory is that ghosts are a record of images from the past. Evidence of this is the recurring presence of wounded soldiers at World War II sites, or the appearance of an aborted child in a park he frequented; "ghosts" are also seen as "messengers," harassing people close to them, similar to the ancient Chinese term "ghosts," which means "ghosts" are "messengers. The first is that the ghosts are not the same as the ones in the other side of the world, but they are the same as the ones in the other side of the world, and they are the same as the ones in the other side of the world, and they are the same as the ones in the other side of the world.
The "mummy curse" began to be debunked in the 1990s. John Warnholt, a writer in Arizona, pointed out the flaws in the rumors, such as the fact that in the early morning hours of Lord Carnarvon's death, the power did not go out in all of Cairo, but only for a brief moment in the hotel where he was staying. In 1999, a professor at the University of Cairo looked at the health records of those involved in the Mummy Spell and found that most had been exposed to Aspergillus, a bacterium that can survive for thousands of years in graves and cause hyperthermia, Death. Biological explanations for the "mummy curse" have also dealt a blow to "ghost" researchers. Many scientific organizations have dismissed the various paranormal research organizations as "full of ignorant superstition. Although the theory is not enough, but does not affect the British folk "ghost hunters" interest, a member of the organization called Ghost Club said: "We are first a group of like-minded people, followed by researchers."
Seven: The Mystery of the Korean Airliner Crash
A Korean Airlines Boeing 747 flying from Seoul to Guam crashed in the early morning hours of August 6, 1997, local time, near Guam International Airport, killing more than 200 people.
It was a time of heavy rainfall and bad weather, and the plane suddenly disappeared from the radar screen and lost contact with the ground command tower as it flew about 5 kilometers from Guam International Airport. According to eyewitnesses, the plane crashed into a dense forest near the airport with a ball of fire and an explosion was heard.
After 17 hours of intense work, U.S. rescuers from the wreckage of the Korean airliner crashed in Guam and the accident site to find the bodies of about 70 victims; Korean Air said there were 29 survivors out of the 254 people on board, four of whom were named as crew members. The United States National Transportation Safety Board sent a specialized investigation team to the scene to investigate the cause of the accident. The two "black boxes" on the crashed plane have also been found and sent to Washington for analysis.
South Korea and the U.S. responsible for the crash of the Korean Air Lines, the cause of each.
The South Koreans emphasized that the navigational device at Guam airport was in a faulty state, that the person on duty at the airport tower was not an FAA employee, and that the weather was abnormal, which ultimately led to the crash. The U.S. side argued that the malfunctioning of the navigation device should not have affected the normal landing of the aircraft and questioned why the Korean side replaced the Airbus flights on the route with Boeing 747 chartered flights, which had been flying on the route for 13 years. Boeing, on the other hand, says its products have an accident rate of only 1.78 million.
On August 10, U.S. federal investigators said the investigation found that computer software for the radar system at Guam International Airport was malfunctioning at the time of the crash of the large South Korean airliner, failing to alert the plane in time as it approached the ground.
In general, when an airplane flying close to the ground, the airport radar system will issue an alert, and ground commanders will remind pilots in time. However, the investigation found that due to a software problem, the radar did not detect the South Korean plane approaching the ground, so the pilot did not receive a warning from the ground command tower before the plane crashed.
Responsible for investigating the crash of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board officials believe that this radar system problems can not be said to lead to the cause of the plane crash, can only say that the lack of one aspect of the preventive measures. There are many factors that may have contributed to the crash.
In addition, the navigation system that guided the plane to land at the Guam airport had been out of service for a long time before the plane's accident; and Guam was experiencing torrential rains when the plane approached the airport, all of which are possible factors that investigators are looking at for the plane's accident.
Eight, the mystery of spontaneous human combustion
The so-called spontaneous human combustion phenomenon, refers to the end of a person's body and the outside world in contact with the fire and fire burning. This incredible phenomenon, first seen in the seventeenth century medical reports. To the 20th century, *** there are more than 200 incidents.
At the beginning of the 19th century, some people thought that this disaster only fell on women who were over-alcoholic, obese and lived alone. But later numerous cases proved that the victims were roughly equal in number of sexes, of all ages from infancy to 114, and in many cases burned on their own without any source of ignition.
One of the earliest and most well-documented incidents of spontaneous human combustion was recorded by Bartolin in 1673. On that occasion it was a poor woman in Paris who died of spontaneous combustion during the night after going home to bed one night. The next morning it was found that only her head and fingers remained, the rest of her body burning to ashes. Based on this spontaneous combustion incident by the Frenchman Rael in 1800 published the first paper on the spontaneous combustion of the human body.
After a short period of time, France, Britain, Italy have had the phenomenon of spontaneous combustion of the human body caused a sensational example. The most recent and influential was on December 27, 1976, when six members of a family of seven in the city of Lagos burned to death, reported by the Arria Herald as the most difficult mystery of the time to explain. "The investigation at the scene showed that everything in the wooden house was intact, even the bedding was neatly placed on the beds, but judging from the severity of the burnt victims, everything in the house should be gone," the report said.
Although many police, fire department, arson experts, pathologists have put forward a lot of evidence, but there is no reasonable physiological argument to prove that the human body to spontaneous combustion or even turned into ashes. Conventionally speaking, the organs, tissues and bones of the human body can only be burned to ashes in a high-pressure crematorium at 900-1,000 degrees Celsius, and spontaneous combustion is indeed unbelievable. In addition, some people have proposed other spontaneous combustion factors, such as meteors, lightning, atomic explosions in the body, laser beams, geomagnetic energy, etc., but under what conditions these can play a role in the formation of spontaneous combustion, there is no explanation. In short, the phenomenon of spontaneous combustion of the human body is still a difficult mystery.
Nine, the mystery of the miracle
For details, see the seven wonders of the ancient world of the mystery
Ten, the mystery of the Shroud
In the northwestern Italian city of Turin, from the 16th century onwards, there is a town of treasures preserved in the chapel attached to the John's Cathedral, the Christian believers of the worship of the generations to bear the Christian believers, this is known as Christianity's sacred, which is the world-renowned "Shroud". The world-famous "Shroud of Turin", also known as the "Shroud of Jesus".
In the early first century, Jesus was born in Bethlehem to the Virgin Mary. At the age of 30, Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, began his ministry in Palestine, where he gradually became the spiritual and moral leader of the people.
What Jesus did with his disciples aroused the hatred of the Jews, and due to the betrayal of a traitor, Jesus was arrested by Pilate, the Roman Imperial governor in Judea, and was sentenced to death by crucifixion.
According to the New Testament, after Jesus was crucified, his disciples fled in all directions, and his body was left unattended. Fortunately, "there was a man named Joseph, a righteous man, who was kind and just ...... This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped it in fine linen, and laid it in a tomb hewn out of stone." Unexpectedly, on the seventh day, Jesus miraculously rose again, and the tomb was opened and disappeared. When his disciple Peter heard of this, he hurried "to the tomb, and looking down into it, he saw the linen cloths alone, and returned, marveling in his heart at what had been done." --This is the origin of Easter in the West.
For the whereabouts of this piece of fine linen, the Bible scriptures did not make another account, until 1353, the shroud to the hands of the Count of Paris, France, Charnier, and in 1357 in his territory of the church of Lirey public exhibition. 1432, the shroud to the hands of the Duke of Saphoire, not long after the ducal palace accidentally caught fire, which affects the shroud, fortunately, the cloth is only slightly damaged. The Shroud was then transferred to the Duke's residence in the Cathedral of Turin, Italy, where it was kept in a silver box and enshrined on the altar of the Catholic Church of Turin in 1983.
The Shroud of Jesus is 4.35 meters long and 1.09 meters wide, with a bloodstained image of a scourged and crucified man. The image is 1.8 meters tall, with long hair hanging over his shoulders, his arms crossed over his abdomen, and clear red bloodstained patches on his head, hands, ribs, and feet, which are identical to the state of Jesus at the time of his crucifixion, as recorded in the Bible.
Is the shroud really a relic of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ? Over the centuries, historians, religious scholars, and scientists have argued and debated around its authenticity. Forced by the pressure from all sides, as well as the curious nature of mankind, September 29, 1986, held in Turin, Italy, by the President of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences presided over a technical seminar on the topic, out of the degree of the meeting of the Archbishop of Turin on behalf of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, as well as scientists from France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and so on * * * 22 people. The meeting reached an agreement to cut samples the size of a postage stamp and to measure them by the world's most advanced ultra-high sensitivity gas pedal mass spectrometer (AMS).
April 21, 1998, the British Museum of archaeological authority and the Archbishop came together in Turin Cathedral, the legendary Shroud of Jesus when the crucifixion of the year to cut the length of 7 centimeters, 1 centimeter wide, divided into three small pieces, in the case of the other party did not know, were sent to the United States to the University of Arizona, the United Kingdom, the University of Oxford and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, AMS dating laboratory Testing. The experiments showed that the three laboratories achieved excellent consistency, with individual results differing within 120 years. There is a 95% probability that the Shroud was made between 1260 and 1380 A.D., and a 100% certainty that it was never made before 1200 A.D. On October 13, 1988, Cardinal Balestrero, Archbishop of Turin, officially announced at a press conference that the cloth, which has been held sacred by Christians for centuries, was not made at the time of the crucifixion, but was woven in the Middle Ages. This cloth, which has been held sacred by Christians for centuries, was not used at the time of the crucifixion of Jesus, but is a forgery woven in the Middle Ages. The truth about the so-called Shroud of Jesus has now been revealed.
However, the matter was later repeated when scientists reportedly re-sampled and analyzed the Shroud using "microchemistry" and made the startling discovery that the samples from the three laboratories in the 1998 experiments were nothing more than a patch on the Shroud of Turin, and that the new identification of the main body was much older than the patch. this patch much earlier. The patch had been patched after fire damage, and because of the care with which it had been done and its age, it had been cut just before the test. The test showed that the main part of the shroud was much older than the patch.

One: The Palace of Cleopatra, "Cleopatra"
For more than 2,000 years, there must have been enough legends and myths about one of history's most glamorous queens. It wasn't until 1996 that marine archaeologist Frank Goddio discovered the island of Antiochodos, where Queen Cleopatra sank, in Alexandria's East Harbor. "Extravagant and luxurious, unusual and colorful," is how Godio describes the underwater palace filled with the tragic fate of the last queen of the Ptolemaic dynasty. Not only did Godio discover the basalt upper body statue of Caesarion, the son of Cleopatra and Caesar, but also the site of Antony's suicide: the last lover and husband of Cleopatra, Antony may have fled to a narrow peninsula when his arch-enemy, Voldavi, captured Alexandria. It was on this island that Antony is said to have drawn his sword and cut his own throat in 30 BC, and a grieving Cleopatra shook hands with a basket of cobras ......
Second, where is the city of Atlantis?
For more than 2300 years, this city-state full of legends has been inspiring the human imagination. According to legend, the walls and palaces of the city of Atlantis were built of gold and sunk in the sea in 11,500 BC. The myth can be traced back to the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, who first mentioned the city of Atlantis in the Psalms of Critias and Timaeus. According to Plato, it was an earthquake that sank Atlantis into the sea. Plato describes this highly developed and wealthy nation as being "surrounded by separated waters and lands" - that is, by a ring of canals. Since then, enthusiastic researchers of the city of Atlantis have discovered more than 50 possible sites on Earth: in the Atlantic Ocean, in the Black Sea, in the Azores, on the islands of Santorin and Crete, and even on the German island of Helgoland in the North Sea. The search continues.
Third, the crystal head
In 1924, a British archaeologist's 17-year-old daughter, Anna Michelle Hedges, found this crystal head in the Mayan city of Lubantum in British Honduras (now Belize). It is at least 3,600 years old and was chiseled from a single piece of crystal. It is the most delicate crystal head ever found, and the only one with a movable jawbone. According to what is known today about the structure of crystals, this head could never have existed: it was made in violation of the natural properties of crystal. Even the most modern technology could not produce such a crystal head, because the crystal would break into more than 1,000 pieces during processing. In the early 1970s, Hewlett-Packard determined after repeated studies that the crystal head had probably been polished for 300 to 800 years to achieve its current precision and smoothness. So far, people **** found 21 crystal heads. Scientists have estimated that crystal heads may have been used as ritual objects in the past. And observers have repeatedly said that they have seen rituals in the crystal heads. Legends about the Maya also talk about 13 identical crystal heads. If they were put together, they could speak and sing.
Fourth, the mysterious tombstone
In 1949, archaeologist Alberto Luz found a step leading to the tomb on the uppermost platform of the "Temple of Inscriptions" in Palenque, Mexico. He found a 3.8-meter-long, 2.2-meter-wide slab with a mysterious decorative pattern, the meaning of which has been debated by experts for 50 years. Did it show a Mayan teenager on an altar? Is it a man who was avenged by a giant monster from the original platform? Or is it a cereal god who grows new life out of corn from his neck? Writer Erich von Denikenky even saw an astronaut in it. Only one thing is certain: the dead man in Palenque's tomb was the Mayan Marquis Pakal, who died in the 7th century AD. According to legend, he died "breathing out a hot breath".
V. Is this Noah's Ark?
"And thou shalt build an ark of cypress wood, and in it shalt thou build some cabins, and shalt pitch it within and without. And thou shalt take a pair of every creature of flesh and blood, a male and a female, into the ark, and they shall live with thee", and with these words God commanded Noah to build a boat with which he would save his whole family and the animals from being drowned in the great flood. After 150 days of heavy flooding, Noah's Ark docked on Mount Ararat in what is today eastern Turkey. In 1949, a rare stone formation was discovered while mapping the terrain at a height of 5,000 meters on the northwestern flank of Mount Ararat. The formation resembled a ship's hull, and its 183-meter length roughly matched the specifications of Noah's Ark as recorded in the Bible. It created "ark fever" in the research community, and in the 1980s amateur archaeologist Ron Wyatt studied the phenomenon and proved that it was Noah's Ark based on the numerous lineaments on the object. Was its formation "just" due to subsidence or was it more related to what scientists today call the "Ararat Mountain Anomaly"? It may now only be possible to demonstrate this through geosatellite photographs. The myth of the Flood continues to circulate.
VI. Astrological Disks
The astrological disk found in the Mittelberg Mountains near Nebra, Germany, is a bronze disk with a diameter of 32 centimeters, weighing two kilograms, and is 3,600 years old. The bronze cluster and the Milky Way. It is worth 15 million euros. Three years ago, two grave robbers found the astrological disk and tried to sell it. In February, it was seized in Basel, Switzerland. Nebra's astrological disk caused a sensation around the world. "This unearthed object is as important as the famous Stonehenge in England and the pyramids in Egypt," said German archaeologist Dr. Harald Mehler. The astrolabe was found in a circular enclosure on the summit of the 252-meter-high Mount Mittelberg. "We don't know whether it was the grave of a marquis or a place where sacred objects were stored", Mehler speculated. For astronomer Wolfhard Schlosser, the astrolabe is the oldest representation of the universe in question. "It is quite possible that the priest used this astrolabe at that time to predict the next lunar eclipse. He must have been standing on that knoll with this copper disk. Once the moon was located above the Angstrom Cluster, a lunar eclipse would occur a few days later." It is possible that the place where this astrological disk was unearthed on Mittelberg Hill has been used as an astronomical observatory for the past 1,000 long years. The astrolabe is currently housed in the Saxony-Anhalt State Museum in Halle.
VII. Dinosaur Crater
Dinosaurs were the largest land vertebrates ever to appear on Earth. The mystery of their sudden extinction seems to be slowly being solved. The reason may be because an asteroid hit the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico 65 million years ago. Recent computer simulations in the United States also suggest this. The huge crater was not discovered until 12 years ago. Since December 2001, the Geographic Research Center in Potsdam, Germany, has been conducting research in this area. The object may have hit the surface of the Earth with an impact equivalent to 10 billion atomic bombs, creating fissures several kilometers deep. Debris from the impact was scattered, causing powerful earthquakes, tsunamis, major floods and fires. The massive amount of dust and gases produced by this collision mixed into the atmosphere, obscuring the sky and causing climate anomalies. First came the fires, then the ice age, followed by unbearable heat. This ecological disaster caused the extinction of flora and fauna, including the dinosaurs.
[edit]Evolution of the Seven Mysteries of the World
As time went on, man's horizons continued to broaden and new discoveries were made. After the 5th century AD, people updated the content of the seven riddles, old bottles of new wine, and the second batch of the world's seven riddles. These seven riddles are:
1. Roman Colosseum. Built in 70-82 AD, the plane oval, 188 meters in diameter, there are three layers of corridors, can accommodate the audience of 50,000 people, the remnants of the present.
2. Alexandria's underground tunnels and chambers. Such chambers also existed in Rome and Naples.
3. The Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China was built during the Warring States period, and was connected by Qin Shihuang, with a total length of about 6,700 kilometers, which was majestic and magnificent.
4 . Britain's megalithic fence. It is a site of ancient human culture in the late Neolithic period. 5. The Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. 8-story building, the tower is tilted.
6. Pottery tower in Nanjing, China. Made of ceramic in the 3rd century AD, the tower had 12 floors and was destroyed in 1850.
7. Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. Built in 532-537 AD, it is the largest church in the world.
The second batch of the seven mysteries of the world compared with the first batch, although the selected sites are still not out of the famous monuments, but the scope of the selected scenes have been expanded from Central Asia to Europe, Asia and Africa.
In recent times, people's curiosity has gradually moved from man-made miracles to natural mysteries. So the third batch of seven mysteries of the world. These seven mysteries are: Jordan's Dead Sea; Hawaii's volcanoes; Bermuda's magic sea; Tibet's glaciers; Norway's night; Sahara's red sand; Tunguska's crater.
In modern times, curious people have even brought anecdotes into the seven mysteries of the world. For example, the Loch Ness Monster, the Alpine Yeti, the Wild Man of the Forest, the Flying Saucer Phantom, Noah's Ark, the Visitor from Heaven, the Secret Treasure of the Underground, and so on, to name a few.
[Edit paragraph] Seven mysteries of modern science
In 1991, the Japanese popular science journal Science Asahi, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the journal, from the contemporary science of the major issues screened out the seven major topics, the launch of the world's seven mysteries of modern science. These seven mysteries are:
1. The formation of the universe. In recent times, there are several scientific theories about the development of Zeus. Such as Einstein's general relativity cosmology, Wilson's background radiation cosmology, Gaimov's Big Bang cosmology, Bundy's steady state cosmology and Hochenko's quantum cosmology. Currently in a state of contention.
2. 10th planet of the Solar System. It is known that the solar system has 8 planets, 1 dwarf planet, in the end there is no 10th planet, astronomers are still looking for. 1972, the American astronomer Pudilla predicted that in the orbit of Pluto outside the possible existence of the 10th planet. In 1987, NASA Anderson, based on the detection of planetary probes, reintroduced the possibility of the existence of a 10th planet, and calculated its mass and rotation period. 1988 American astronomers Harrington, Powell and Brazilian astronomer Gomes measured the theoretical orbits of the 10th planet, but so far, the observations have not been confirmed.
3. The origin of life. Scientists believe that life originated in the ocean and landed 400 million years ago. Life evolved from simple inorganic compounds to complex organic compounds. With the evolution of natural conditions, these compounds interact with each other, and finally produce living matter. The mystery of the birth of life has not yet been finally solved.
4. The composition of biological forms: In the first half of the 1980s, the American biologist Dr. Hogness and the Swiss Dr. Gehringer, based on their own experiments, successfully isolated genes for biological genetic variations, and found the reasons why some insects with only one pair of wings gave birth to two pairs of wings, and why two feet were born where antennae were originally grown: the composition of biological forms is determined by their own genes and environmental factors. The reason for this is that the form of an organism is determined by its genes and its environment.
5. The extinction of the dinosaurs. There are two theories in dispute: one is the catastrophic theory, that the asteroid hit the earth or sudden changes in climate, so that the extinction of dinosaurs. Another theory is the gradual change, that the extinction of dinosaurs experienced a long historical process, not overnight.
6. The origin of mankind. There are two theories in the debate. One theory is that the human ancestor was born in Africa, and then spread around the world to reproduce. The other theory is that human beings on all continents evolved from their own local primitives. Fossil excavations have confirmed that the former theory has prevailed.
7. El Ni?o. Elnino is a phenomenon that affects global atmospheric circulation and climate anomalies, which occurs every 2 to 7 years and lasts for a year each time, with non-cyclical variations. It has occurred 10 times between the 1950s and the 1990s. Experts are still exploring its causes and development.
[Editor's note]Seven new scientific mysteries of the 21st century
At the end of 1993, 18 scientists in Japan came up with seven challenging questions in their respective fields of research, which they called the seven mysteries of 21st century science. They are: 1. flowers and butterflies; 2. life and death; 3. mind and body; 4. left and right; 5. yin and yang; 6. reality and emptiness; 7. male and female.
The seven puzzles have captured the main themes of many of today's scientific problems, and are highly comprehensive and generalized. Each puzzle involves a wide range of multidisciplinary fields. For example, the mystery of the flower and the butterfly explores the law of evolution of biological***similarity, which involves the disciplines of biochemistry, chemical ecology, and so on. These seven puzzles have a strong philosophical flavor and are full of dialectics, which is different from the previous seven puzzles.
The unsolved mystery: did Emperor Qin Shi Huang meet aliens?
"Gleanings" Volume 4.1 recorded: "There are the people of the Wanyuan canal, take the spiral boat and arrived. Boat shaped like a screw, sinking the bottom of the sea, and the water is not immersed, a 'on the wave boat'. Its countrymen ten feet long, weaving the hair of birds and animals to hide the shape. The first emperor and his words and heaven and earth shirt open time, such as personally witnessed". They also mastered the amazingly efficient energy, if used for night lighting, just "like corn" of a grain, can "reflect a hall". If thrown into a small river or stream, "boiling foam flows for dozens of miles". Who were these "people of Wanqu"? Qin Shihuang thought: "This is a man of God". So, is there really a man of God in heaven and earth? Throughout the ages, many scholars have been puzzled by this record.
In recent years, many scholars have explained this record with the viewpoint of extraterrestrial visitors: a group of highly civilized aliens came to Earth early and set up a base, known as the Wanyuanqu country, the scientific investigation of the Earth. This group of aliens operated in the ocean, which covered 2/3 of the surface area, and used the "Numbo Boat", which was "shaped like a snail", as a means of transportation. This kind of transportation was used both on land and water, and traveled 10,000 miles a day. This is today's flying saucer (UFO). These people "two eyes like electricity, ears out of the collar, face like a child". They paid attention to observing the human world, and when there was a new trend, even if they "went to 100,000 miles", they would "run and go to see it". They were "as close as witness" to the Earth in the Flood era, and were very concerned about things like "the son of Shaodian picking the copper of the first mountain and casting it as a big tripod", and had rushed to the scene to investigate, and saw that "the three tripods have become They were very concerned about such things as "the son of Shaodian collecting copper from Shoushan and casting it into a big tripod". They were on the changes in China's social organization structure, production of major achievements, also one by one "walk and to see". The Great Wall of China has also left their activities.
The legend of aliens visiting the Earth, both Chinese and foreign records. And "Gleanings" is particularly unique, recorded the aliens and then the earth's dominant party Qin Shi Huang for friendly contact, leaving a relatively old original records. Some scholars have disputed this interpretation, expressing difficulty in accepting it. At present, the explanation that can be accepted by most people is inconclusive. Who did Qin Shi Huang receive? This question has become an academic mystery.
